Ghost rings are great!

Doc, I like ghost rings on a rifle.

They do not help me on a pistol.

BTW I have 2 unused ghost ring sites for CZ52, and one used, that I will give to anyone for a smile if I can find them.

Fitting is required, but easy.

They seemed to make good sense to me, but I've never had first hand experience. Seems like as soon as you got used to the sight picture it would be a whole lot easier to center in on the target.

The nice thing about those from Mojo is, they are threaded and you can get different aperture inserts. Does using these alter the rifle such that it would no longer be eligible in the Springfield/vintage military rifle category of competition?

I’ve used FrogLube on my tupperware (I got the paste) & it seems to work well. Smells pretty good too.

Yeah, that middle one looked pretty good to me too. Plus, I wouldn’t have to mess around with removing that existing front post. $69.00 for the rear, plus $20.00 more if ya want the pack of aperture inserts. I’m gonna think on it.

I believe foreign made military rifles must be in “as issued” condition. Better check the rule book.

FWIW, a friend just got a lever action Rossi 357, It punched a 50C group at 25 yds with open sights.

I just went to the store for some ammo and ALL the 30-30 was gone, and most everythjign else was low in supply, but there was a ton of 30-06

Anyone here know why that might be? I was going to get a 30-30 or a 30-06 and decided on a nice used Marlin (like new) for $299

Should I maybe have gotten (or still get) a 30-06? (for when you want to reach out and touch someone at more than 600 yards)
