A red and white swinger cooler works great for a folded sub 2000 in 40 S&W. Set it behind the riders side seat for easy access.

These are very reliable ...but you haven't heard loud until you fire one off without ear protection:

Ooh, I like that toolbox build! I too tend to accumulate “grey man” type bags like those for sports gear.

The sorta-AR-pistol KelTek PLR-16, while not fired as often as I’d like, seems to be a hose. (Care and feeding of such rather expensive, y’know.) It takes regular AR mags, tho the poly 10-rounder it came with doesn’t drop as readily as I like. Accourse that’s easy enough to fix. Single point sling attached to weight midpoint rather than the swivel provided by the company.

I do call this one the dragonfire for reasons explained in another’s post, LOL.

Yes it is ugly, and yes for heat reasons you do want the optional forend even if you’re content with the iron sights.

Happy hunting!

Yeppers, I’ve got one of these, new in box, instructions in English!

is a 30-30 the equivalent of something else? I vaguely recall reading that it was the same as a 7.28 caliber? (OR SOMETHNG SIMILAR)

There was a comparison chart of different rounds and the cost -vs- the number of pounds of meat you could bag with them, and they said the 7.28 (once again???) was at the top for cost-effecttiveness and they had a small blurb about it being a 30-30 (in parenthesis, only once)

I could be totally wrong, but right next to the 30-06 ammo in the store there was something called 7.28 (???)

i am just learning about all this.

The only thing I ever owned before was a 12 gage with some deer slugs and pheasant loads, but I recently bought a Rossi Circuit Judge because I just though it was way too cool to have a shotgun made like a revolver that would shoot both .410 shotgun and 45 cal ammo.

And the 410 shot for indoor home defense would not take out a structural wall like a 12-guage might

30-30 is a .308 diameter bullet, but typically has a round nose for use in a lever action tube magazine and the case is loaded with less powder. 30-30 is pretty good out to 100-150 yards. That round nose bullet is just not very aerodynamic.

Current 20 gague semi autos are very reliable. You would do better to acquire a 20 gauge semi auto, add a mag extension, and attach extra round cuffs.

I have one which has an extension to hold seven in the mag, with two extra round strips which hold seven each. Allows you to carry on the tool different rounds for different uses.

I load primary as the 'black cloud' bird shot, which at in-home distances hits like a slug, transfers inertia like brid shot, and stays in a tight pattern like sleeved buckshot.

The pump action Maverick 20 gauge with a vertical foregrip is another excellent yet inexpensive option. But the magazines are not 'extendable'.
