FWIW, a considerable majority of scientists are politically liberal.
Engineers, not so much, but even they are not as conservative as you might expect.
I do not personally understand this phenomenon, but I suspect it’s related to people who are intensely focused on their narrow field of knowledge, and take their political and social cues from the environment around them. In their case this environment is 8 to 12 years of post-secondary education in a liberal setting.
67% of scientists consider themselves to be liberal or very liberal, as opposed to 25% of the general population.
9% of scientists classify themselves as conservative, versus 37% of the population.

She apparently won't have to give back the more than half a million bucks she got in bonuses tied to the fraudulent improvement.
Some of us warned about this kind of crap when state and municipal governments began tying school funding and teachers’ salaries to student performance. So these highly educated black Public School leaders evidently do not believe the students are capable of learning and thus they must cheat. So the smart educators may just be telling the truth, these children really are not capable and if that’s so we need to confirm it in order to find better solutions than the extremely expensive public school systems.
Hahahaha—this is going to cost the Atlanta school district millions more. I believe her contract had a little clause stipulating they would pay attorneys fees. You get what you vote for and Atlanta has been run by fools for years by the nitwits that keep electing them. My gut tells me this chic will walk instead of Atlanta spending the big bucks.

The reason is evdient for all to see....most black children are born to single parent mothers which means they are impoverished and dependent on the state. As a result there is no family nucleus, they live in areas where most of the kids are in similar situations, and there is no discipline or pressure for the kids to excel at learning, as Asian kids do.
Any news on what’s happening with several suburban communities attempting to separate from the Fulton County School District?
