UPDATED:09:42 EST, 28 March 2013Thousands of armed vigilantes have taken over a town in Mexico and arrested police officers after their 'commander' was killed and dumped in the street.
The self described 'community police' and arrested 12 officers and the town's former director of public security, who they accuse of taking part in the killing of Guadalupe Quinones Carbajal, 28, on behalf of a local organised crime group.

Hiding under their desks behind their armed guards.
I’ve been wondering that myself, especially since we see news daily of mobs attacking innocent people and the authorities looking the other way. I hope that enough people in this country have retained the courage to protect themselves and their families, unlike what seems to have happened in Europe. Euroweenies, is a fitting term.
Depends on who you ask, now.
Seems like we in the US will be needing to form such groups before long...
The government monopoly will put a stop to this civil order.
The American media will ignore this story...these pictures will frighten our congress and zero....!
I wonder how happy Eric is now about all those F&F guns he shipped to them?
I join you in applauding them. It would be a great day for the country, arresting Cuomo, the lib judges, Dan Savage or whatever that NAMBLA-ite’s name is. Obama of course. The entire EPA. Ahhh...
I think 2 million patriots marching on DC would scare the crap out of them. If you recall, the media lied, distorted and completely ignored the 500,000 who came to the 2010 TEA Party rally with Sarah and Glenn Beck...
Looks like it might be happening here! Check out the post about a place in AZ where someone is going to give out free shotguns to anyone who can pass a background check. They are doing this because the police are not protecting the people. Boo yah!
The last two sentences are what grabbed my attention: ‘We want to return peace and tranquility to the entire population. Only the people can restore order.’
Maybe those are the guns from Fast and Furious..../s
They have machine guns. No gun control in Mexico?
Only if you don’t get it from mr. e. holder. I’m sure they got these firearms from the one and only gun store in the county at the army base in Mexico City. Folding stock AR. Bolt action whatevers...............
I’d say good for them. But in Mexico, it’s seldom clear that there’s a right side and a wrong side. Revolutions against dictators and thugs usually turn out badly.
The militia shot some tourists for not stopping at a roadblock. Not good.
Thanks for reminding me....I had forgotten.
Wow, what a GREAT picture & story. I am very proud of these Mexican patriots taking matters into their own hands.
Wow. Sounds like a workable plan for certain leftie cesspools in the US. Chicago, Detroit, and parts of New York, perhaps? If the local police are corrupt and won’t provide protection, it’s up to the citizens to step up and do so.
When TSHTF, it will be more than pictures to frighten them.
The Battle of Athens was the first thing I thought of when I read this.
