The shootings of a Brunswick mother and her 1-year-old son last week in which the boy was killed were random, Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said at a news conference Wednesday.
De'Marquise Elkins, 17, and Dominique Lang, 15, were each indicted Wednesday on a count of first-degree murder in the killing of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago.
Doering said it had been a judgment call about releasing the information that the location and victims of the shootings were random, but he said investigators are now comfortable in revealing that.

“The mom just acts a little different from what I would expect; granted, I have never lost a child, nor have I witnessed a murder. It just seemed that the mother was just too eager to speak with the news...over and over again. She packed up and donated the child’s clothes the day after the murder. Hew own daughter stated that the mother asked the day after the killing “How long till I get the insurance check”.
The PD released the information because conspiracy nuts, including too many on these threads, believe the mother was involved.
Stipulating even that the mother was not Donna Reed or June Cleaver, and may in fact be pure white trash, does not lead to the automatic conclusion of several FReepers and others that she colluded with these two geniuses to have her child shot in the face.
The Chief of Police made some kind of odd comments:
“Doering still refused to answer the key question, whether West and the suspects know each other, saying it would harm the investigation. He would not say how long the suspects have known each other.”
Lang’s family has said Lang did not know Elkins.
Doering closed the news conference saying, “A truth will come to light at the proper time, just not now.”
“King” Malik Shabazz says if you want true freedom you have to kill some cracker babies.
yep, said things get understood when leaders say them. Regrettable for those Men and Women doing the right things.

What we have learned since Obama arrived on the scene is that some pulpits have preached hatred of whitey for so long and with such fervency that war (declared by the haters...same as in Islam) is unavoidable.

Yup. Nothing hateful about shooting an 18 month old. Must have “dissed” them or something huh? But since it was random, no harm, no foul and his mom and auntee should be released too. I mean, isn’t it all about equal justice? “If I had a son.................”
It might not have, to them, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the media and the race hustlers would have made sure that it was charged as one. They proved that they could and would do so in the Zimmerman case, which was weeks old when the media looked for just such a case in which the “cold-blooded killer” appeared to be a southern white good old boy, while the deceased could be portrayed as a youthful “honuh stoo-dint”. They didn’t bother to check the details, they knew they didn’t need to-they control the narrative.
Little Antonio Santiago, being a ‘white hispanic’ baby, deserved it on the basis of “justice for Trayvon.”
Uh, ouch.
Looking at the pictures - I can tell these two were follow any gun control law put down. So the solution? Obviously more gun control. /s
