Yeah, I've thought about this some and I figure that if TS really HTF, a silver eagle ain't buying my can of Dinty Moore.
I buy some Silver Eagles, a few bars, but most of my effort goes into stocking up on stuff that I can use or trade. I've bought a bunch of canned goods, small bottles of propane, water filtration systems-everyday kinds of stuff- and hopefully, a cash cow in the form of a Dillon 550. It was getting hard to find as many components as I wanted for that, but the past week or so I've been seeing some around. I sure hope that I don't NEED them, but...
Heck, at least you can actually still FIND gold or silver.
Ammo, not so much.
