Ammo, not so much.
I’ve added ammo to my “accumulation” list. Small purchases over time is building up a good stock of all. I buy my silver either locally or through Independent Living Bullion. They are at

They have an monthly plan where you pay a monthly amount and they get your gold or silver assigned and move any partial into the next month. I have it shipped every 3 months to save on shipping costs.
It allows me to accumulate rather painlessly. Of course, I wish I had started back when silver was $7!
