A petition has been launched asking American lingerie giant Victoria's Secret to pull a range of underwear it believes is marketed at pre-teenage girls, which features slogans such as 'Feeling Lucky?'
Victoria's Secret says its PINK line is 'for the independent spirit on campus', but its new campaign has angered so many parents that a Facebook page entitled 'Dear Victoria's Secret: Pull "Bright Young Things" and an online petition have been launched.
The Bright Young Things campaign ties in with PINK's Spring Break line - the name given to the Easter Holidays in the U.S., but many have interpreted it to be a sub-brand aimed at those of middle-school age. Knickers featuring glittery slogans such as 'Call Me', 'Wild' and 'Feeling Lucky' form part of the mix alongside brightly coloured hoodies and jersey basics.

I guess in 9 months, they'll be parents!!
Unless the girl is buying them for the boy to wear!!
Its not all black and white. Young children are in a hurry to grow up. Marketers know this and structure their message accordingly.
My brothers ex-wife took their 14 yr old daughter out and bought them for her. Then she arranged for her boyfriend to come over and gave them some quality alone time.
Yes she’s a liberal.
Where are the parents of these teens?? Out chasing younger people??
Wow, you're gonna get it now, mn. Just like home. lol
As a teacher and a mother I can assure you that the problem is not VS. Twelve to 15-year-old girls don’t have the money with which to buy these products, nor do they have the transportation to get to the stores to make the purchases. Mommy and daddy provide them with both. Parents want their kids to be cool. I know parents who supply alcohol to their teens because of the coolness factor they so desperately want their kids to achieve. VS is only supplying what is being demanded. If parents said no then VS would no longer have a reason to market these skivvies. I’m going to guess that if the girls wearing these we’re told no by their parents, it would probably be one of the few times they’ve been told no. When parents stop buying, VS will move on to something more appropriate. Until then, parents need to stop blaming society for demeaning women and instead take more active roles in their daughters’ lives.
I'm not sure about anyone else, but who would let their teen age kids go by themselves to the Bahamas?? With their friends??
24? She doesn’t look it at all. I’m 35. I know a lot of 24 year olds. That picture just gave me the creeps.
Yes shes a liberal.
I bet she'd be honored to give them the $$$ to MURDER their kid when it happens!!
typical LIBERAL!
Hmmm...a minority on FR...a conservative female teacher...(now if you are a PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER, then you are really a small minority!!)
Then, upon further relection, I decided that pols would lower the bar even farther.
I Googled images of that Swanepoel girl. If you think she looks like a skinny young boy then you must be into heffer’s...that girl is smokin’ hot.
Yes, schools have one but when you hear “spring break” most people automatically think “College!” and traveling to get drunk somewhere exotic.
This one is gross if those are children’s sizes. Otherwise, are we supposed to ban words on adult size panties?
You really think those kids are by themselves?
It pains me to say it, but that’s entirely possible.
I’m so sick of this world’s raving insanity....
The “Mommy Lobby” should pay more attention to their own parenting skills. No one is holding a gun to their pinheads to buy this shi%!
