Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia on Monday announced his support for gay marriage, making him the latest high-profile politician to state publicly that his opinion on the issue had changed.
"I support marriage equality because it is the fair and right thing to do. Like many Virginians and Americans, my views on gay marriage have evolved, and this is the inevitable extension of my efforts to promote equality and opportunity for everyone," he said in a statement posted on his Facebook page, noting that he signed an amicus brief urging the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, which bars federal recognition of same-sex marriages.

So many leftists have flooded into Virginia in the past 20 years I fear we will soon turn from a purple to fully blue state.
Like locusts, the liberals have destroyed their home states and have now moved into the functioning conservative states, where they will then vote for the same failed tax and spend (and social) policies that wrecked their former homes.
Liberals are too stupid to understand their faults and shortcomings and repeat their disastrous actions rather than learn from their mistakes. Too bad they have been schooled from their infancy to not have any critical thinking skills. You can't learn from your mistakes when you are not capable of seeing your mistakes through the rose colored lens of "self esteem."
I am in mourning... for my father-in-law whose funeral I just attended in Virginia, my home, and for my home state of Virginia... Unbelievable that my “folks” would support this nonsense.
