The Department of Justice supposedly just called and a man named "Jerry" who sounded of Indian or Pakistani origin (thick accent) asked if a V.M. (name obscured in case this is real) were here. I was busy and got his number to call him back. The phone number is 814-289-8211. I called back and got another foreign-sounding individual on the phone. He transferred me to "Agent Jerry's" office.
Upon reconnecting with "Agent Jerry", I told him she doesn't work here (never heard of her). I asked him how a foreigner could get that kind of work in the DOJ and he indignantly asked me why I would have a problem with a foreigner working in the Dept. of Justice. I told him I grew up overseas and have traveled the world and other countries don't allow that. We quickly ended the phone call because it was obvious we weren't going to agree.
It is a scammer. A lot of people have reported that number.

When was the last time you were in DC? It may be the most international city in the US.
Somerset, PA... Really ???
I live here, the only government offices I’ve noticed are for Food Stamps and Welfare, and they are always busy!!!
The town is slowly decaying....
My Mom recently got a call from the "cable company" wanting her to follow some phone instructions to fix the wireless router. Being totally computer illiterate, she told him to mail the instructions. Told her to hang up next time. Bill
What’s a “V.M.?”
Cool site. I got a kick out of the “find your arrest record” thing though. I suppose all I need to do is give them my name, address, social security number, mom’s maiden name and my dog’s name and they’ll “help me out”?
When I was enlisted and needing top secret clearance my relatives were questioned if they knew me and so forth!
My wife worked at the hospital and was approached by a man who asked her several questions including, if was she married to me.
She answered all the questions and then asked him who he was?
He said “I’m Mike Hammer” and walked away!
You too? I keep getting "last chance" warnings from her, just every day.
I got those calls too. After the second one, I’d hang up when they said it was Microsoft. It stopped soon after.
I called the number and a sexy sounding gal answered. She said that if I gave her my credit card number, I would feel 19 again. I told her I would call her back.
May I please have one of your credit card numbers?
Please hurry....
Thanks in advance.
“I keep getting calls from Rachel almost threatening me that my eligibility is about to expire and I need to contact them now. Credit Card services is a scam by a bunch of scum.”

I used to get 8 or more calls a day from scammers a day, one from CBE enterprises would call 2 or 3 times a day. I bought a Panasonic call answering machine with a call blocking feature for 30 numbers and started putting numbers on it. Works great, I haven’t had a call from anyone I don’t to talk to in over a month. The thing rings once then the caller gets a Click BZZZZZZZZZ dial tone. Best $45.00 I ever spent
I had one calling me for a while. I started ansering and just setting the phone down until the caller gave up. Calls stopped.
I am thinking of pressing #1 to talk to a service rep and ask them if they know Jesus.
“he indignantly asked me why I would have a problem with a foreigner working in the Dept. of Justice.”
After all there’s a foreigner in the Whitehouse. Whats the big problemo?
You want me to WHAT?
I'm gonna need to see some ID over the phone of Officer Jerry and Agent Bob first...
But I was FRUSTRATED at 19!
At 19, I was constantly being conned by sexy girls, always leaving with my d*** in my hands, my pride wounded, and my wallet much lighter.
So I suppose she's right.
800.notes.com can be very helpful. I recently replaced my home’s wireless phones with a Panasonic set that has call blocking. After verifying the number is a scam or soliciation I block the number. If they try again the phone rings once and hangs up on them.
