GOP strategist Karl Rove says he can imagine a Republican candidate in the next presidential campaign supporting gay marriage.
The statement from the former adviser to President George W. Bush appears to acknowledge that opposition to gay marriage has waned in some conservative circles.

No but HELL no. I am so mad right now.
unacceptable rhetoric. Absolutely unacceptable, you owe this whole site an apology for that outburst. I can’t stand that man or RINOs in general, but that does not excuse your tantrum.
What is with Rove and his obsession with sticking it to the Tea Party . . . ?
He’s just got to be hardcore liberal. Undoubtedly he was behind the gay marriage push all along; during Bush’s presidency, I saw the big rise of gay marriage movements seemingly out of the blue. He’s part of it.
Hard to believe that 4 short years ago most of us were saying things like...”Rove! You magnificent bastard”!
Now it’s just “Rove, You Bastard!”
It is woefully sick in the head to alienate Christian Conservative voters (who do vote Republican) on homosexual marriage (2 % of the population), to appeal to voters who very likely will not vote Republican anyway.
Exactly. The 2010 midterm gains were not achieved by a leftward push. Go further left, lose bigger.
As I wrote on a previous message:
I could care less what Karl Rove thinks. God will judge us as a nation, and that is all that matters!
Between this and his fried chicken remark, Karl Rove is on a roll.
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
What Tokyo Rove is saying that, in the future, the difference between the dhimmicraps and the gutless party will become imperceptible.
Hell, I could’ve told you that, and I am not even a politician.
When you run two Democrats against each other, people will vote for the real Democrat.
Rove’s Democrat will lose.
I’m not 100% sure what Rand Paul’s position is on this. I say that, not b/c I’m on the Paul Bandwagon although I do agree with pretty much everything the guy has stated publicly. On a personal level, I don’t agree with it. But...
Why does the government get to decide who gets married and who doesn’t? Why do I, or anyone else, need the governments permission to join in a union with someone else. I thought that the whole ‘marriage’ thing was something that is decided upon by whatever religion a person practices. If 2 gay men/women want to get married, then let them go to whatever church they practice at, if they do, and let the church deal with it.
If it’s matter of benefits provided by Company A or Company B, most companies already give benefits to significant others anyway. Let it be there decision. I used to date a Delta flight attendant. The gay employees were given more benefits than the straight ones. That was Delta’s decision.
We need to let rove, boehner, mcconell, mccain, gramnisty and the boys keep the GOP just like it is and get moving with the Tea Party!
あなたは、実証済みの敗者です。あなたは、東京湾に飛び込んでください!
Support is strong from divorce lawyers!
Gays are finding open arms in Rove’s circles, and probably in his bed.
When is this guy gonna just take his money and go tf away?
