According to other Arab newspaper reports sources close to Assad says president in good health and high spirits, and will deliver a keynote speech in the coming days.

Removing Assad, is one step forward to resolving the problems in Syria.

Considering all the money in Saudi Arabia and how badly they want his deposed, It would not be surprising to see someone in a position of trust to be “bought” to perform an assassination.

The civil war in Syria is a proxy war between two factions of Islam fronted by Iran and the Saudis. This civil war is not about freedom, it is about religion.
