7 injured at party for 13-year-old rapper

First of all, everyone should know this: Lil Mouse is OK.

His mommy got him out of the nightclub before the black mob violence and gun play broke out, leaving seven wounded.

Lil Mouse is a 13-year-old gangster rapper from Chicago. His lyrics are all about killing people. Dealing drugs. Using drugs. Making money. More murder. Snitching. Robbery. Gang signs.

And that was just in the first minute of his new video, “I’m 4Real.”

So it is easy to understand how some of his fans were concerned for his safety when a party for his new video got out of hand earlier this week.

“Police said three people pulled out handguns and started firing shots both inside and outside Mr. G’s Supper Club and Entertainment Center at 87th and Ashland about 1:13 a.m.”

So says the Chicago Sun Times.

Then it was panic, with lots of chair throwing and fighting.

But Lil Mouse was probably home in bed by then, his mommy told friends. Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2013/03/7-injured-at-party-for-13-year-old-rapper/#h4Q8O4rpwZOBbJWk.99

I did not see how many shots were fired but;
Three shooters, seven wounded, zero fatalities.
Damn those ‘rap fans’ need a little more range time.

My goodness! He's just a child! What sort of upbringing has this child had to already be writing songs about such horrible things? The answer to the former would explain this, the latter, how could his mother let him write such lyrics? Beyond sad.

Lil Mouse acquired notoriety last year with rap video Get Smoked; which is alternately about killing people, selling drugs, having sex, how cops lie, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, and robbery.

Ugh... I know I already posted, but again, he's a child! What is wrong with his mother?

bad poetry in a monotone....I’d have flunked grade school poetry if I’d have delivered it without emphasis.

If people who had these kids were made to work to support them, we'd not have crap such as this.

How much longer will you continue to pay (probably 100%) for these feral thugs to hate you?

Did I understand Rush this week to say that 80% of the graduating high school seniors in New York (I don't know if he said city/state) cannot read or write?

How can a person even hold a job today without being able to read or write?

Shortly, we'll see statistics about how the poor downtrodden have such crappy jobs and income and how can we allow people in this country to suffer and what are YOU doing about it?

I am armed 100% of the time these days.

Range time won’t help as long as they keep using that sideways gangsta grip.

I have always wondered why they use that sideways gangsta grip. Any ideas?

I have a little money saved up, I’d like to gift this bunch with a oneway ticket for the trip of a lifetime. Guess where I would send them!

Did I understand Rush this week to say that 80% of the graduating high school seniors in New York (I don't know if he said city/state) cannot read or write?

This is a fascinating example of how a statistic takes on a life of its own once it hits the news.

The original report was the 80% of students entering the New York City community college system required remedial reading/math classes. From there it grew (via "Sultan Knish," who is usually sharper, among others) to "80% of NYC high school graduates." Now we're getting "80% of graduates in New York State can't read or write."

Just because I'm a bore, I will elaborate. The original "80% of new students at City College of New York facilities" who need remedial courses does not include NYC students who go to other colleges/universities after graduation. It does not include those who go to no college. It does include some students from other school systems, even out of state. It doesn't include most of the very significant number of NYC students who don't graduate, but it does include some students who never graduated from high school: those with GEDs or education from other countries.

Additionally, needing remedial courses does not equate to illiteracy or innumeracy. My own daughter, the outrageously excellent Gunner Anoreth, had to take remedial algebra in community college, because in spite of several computer languages, a comprehensive knowledge of history, political science, and classical literature, and great hand-eye coordination, she just had a b8tch of a time getting a handle on algebra.

In other words, it's an interesting statistic, but far from the totem it has become in only a few days.

Thanks for the correction.

It becomes easier to believe when I read that 40+% of ALL the residents of Detroit and New Orleans cannot read or write.

Christian friends of mine that went to NO to help out with Katrina recovery say that much of their time was spent filling out simple forms for residents to get FEMA supplies/help/support.

That's a little more believable, but it still raises the question of how they got that number. As a stats-nerd, I'd want to see the studies!
