Harry Reid will reverse course and allow a tough gun bill to be introduced in the Senate.
The Huffington Post reports, "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will introduce gun control legislation Thursday night that includes a proposal for universal background checks, a high-ranking source told The Huffington Post."
The liberal website adds:

Both Parties are there to make us think we have some control. We don’t. We’re manipulated to believe we have control.
Those that control both of the Parties play the great divide as necessary to implement all the policies that they want, be it another war, amnesty, more immigration, gun control, bailing out the bankers after their greatest heist, shipping our economy to China, a UN treaty that usurps the US Constitution or a back door central bank and 16th Amendment both in tandem about 1913. It’s all about keeping the little sheeple angry at each other while owning the pols. What scares the PTB most are outlier groups like the Tea Party and OWS that aren’t beholden and compromised.
They always knew there was never a chance for the bogus "assault weapons ban" to pass. And they knew that even if it did, it wouldn't do a damn thing anyway.
The "universal background check" is what they're really aiming for:

I don’t see the two as related in the least bit. At every stage of human history you’ve had the Right to Self-Defense. It may have gotten you killed, battered, enslaved or all three, but that is a Natural Right.
At no point in the known history of mankind have homosexuals been allowed to marry in any civilization of note. For Christians, Jews and Moslems it has never, ever been OK.
