OKLAHOMA CITY -- The federal government has informed Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak that it intends to take over swaths of insurance regulation in the state to ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act commonly known as Obamacare.
The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is notifying insurers in Oklahoma that it will handle enforcement of the ACA. In a March 15 letter to Doak, the agency notified the Insurance Department of its responsibility to enforce the ACA in Oklahoma because the state has declined to do so. Should Oklahoma enactmarket reform requirements, according to the letter, the federal government will consider transitioning regulations to the state.

How much coercion and intimidation from the feds will the states put up with?
Feds: We WILL make you swallow this pill.
Doak: You and what army?
Now we know why DHS is buying up hollow-point bullets and assault weapons...
Things are definitely heating up.
I stand with Oklahoma, a state that is daring to remain American. The Federal Government? For the People By The People....not Hitler's Germany. Take Action Freepers!
It used to be “The British are Coming” now it’s “The Feds are Coming”
Now we know why all the gun & ammo purchases.
Gee. Hollow point bullets and assault weapons are sure-fire “health” care. \s
Shoot the whites of their eyes out!
This will be interesting.
Death panels, just as prescribed in Obamacare...
We the people of Oklahoma voted to opt-out of 0care by a huger percentage.
Gee I wonder how many NEW Federal employees the HHS will now have an excuse to add to 0bama’s civilian army?
I hope OK tells them to F off. NY doesn’t have the politicians with balls to do that. They’re mostly whiny nanny pant liberals from NYC and the bigger cities upstate that control the legislature here.
LOL.
Agreed, Ill watch carefully how it plays out. There are lessons for all who would learn.
Or use a grapefruit spoon, I don’t care.
Just the beginning of Obama’s Reich.
If Oklahoma and Texas seceded tomorrow it would not surprise me one bit, and I would CHEER THEM ON.
