President Barack Obama spoke critically of Israeli settlement activity and reaffirmed his commitment to the creation of "an independent and sovereign state of Palestine" in a Thursday news conference in the West Bank.
"We cannot give up on the search for peace, no matter how hard it is. ... Too much is at stake," the president said at the joint news conference with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on the second day of his first official trip to Israel. Advertise | AdChoices
Obama reaffirmed the "difficult" goal of a two-state solution, adding that Israel's program of settlements was unhelpful and did not "advance the cause of peace."

You mean Jordan Mr. Obama?
Did the Palis not lose a war? Why do they DESERVE a re-do? What has gone into this judgement of what they “deserve”? They can live peacefully where they are- or go someplace else. Does Obama believe he is God?
Well like it or not, most of the Jordanians ARE Palastenian, so it would be natural to declare Jordan be the REAL Palistine.
Remember: possession is nine-tenths of the law.
They have land.
They’re not doing squat with it.
“Lets just say for purposees of discussion that the Palis get a state of their own.”
Michigan
They have one. It’s called Jordan.
You and me both! And we have no one.
Give them NEW JERSEY.
There was never a Palestine, so how can they be Palestenian?
Yes, they are Jordanian. But Jordan wants no part of these trouble makers.
Broken link, BTW.
Why? Who's blocking what? I never heard this before. Can you explain? Give example?
I went back into my cache of browser history and could not find the search that gave the errors. Am puzzled, but it did happen.

Rockets Hit Israel as Obama Meets Palestinians

RAMALLAH, West Bank President Barack Obama is meeting Palestinian officials on the second day of his Mideast tour to emphasize the importance of reaching an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, a message underscored Thursday when Palestinian militants in Gaza launched rockets into southern Israel.
That calm has not extended to Gaza, which is run by the militant Islamic Hamas movement. As Obama began his program Thursday, Israeli police said militants in Gaza had fired two rockets at the southern town of Sderot.
One of the rockets exploded in the courtyard of a house in Sderot early in the morning, causing damage but no injuries, said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld. The other landed in an open field. Sirens wailed in Sderot shortly after the 7 a.m. rocket attack, forcing residents on their way to work or school to run to bomb shelters.
They already have one.
It is called Jordan.
Southerners deserve a state of their own. Does O’Dipsnot agree with that?

Too often!!!
Thanks for looking. If you happen to run into such a thing again, please ping.
So-called “Palestinians” are nothing but Arabs, and the last time I checked, there were plenty of Arab states.
You are absolutely correct. Jordan was created as a home for the Palestinians. The Arab countries, especially the Saudi’s, have been putting all kinds of monkeywrenches in that, to preserve a perpetual jab at Israel.
