A Florida mom is facing three counts of child abuse after police say she burned her daughter with a hot knife for resisting an arranged marriage.

Sahar Thabit, a 35-year-old devout Muslim, put a knife on a hot stove and used it to burn her 17-year-old daughter several times in January, according to Hollywood police. Police began investigating the alleged incidents after one of the daughter

Please remember that there are other religions and cultures that arrange marriages and have honor killings..Hindu’s, Christian as well as Muslims engage in such activities. It is more a regional cultural tribal practice.

Please give examples of Christian honor killings in the USA. That is a ridiculous statement, unworthy of serious discussion. Islam is in no way compatible to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components.
The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to "the reasonable" Muslim demands for their "religious rights," they also get the other components under the table.

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

Jeez, we all know who commits 99% (if not more) of the “honor killings”. Muslims, that’s who. And while Hindu’s still practice arranged marriages, that is a far cry from murdering or disfiguring a female relative for not marrying a man old enough to be your grandfather. And Christians have not practiced arranged marriages for centuries and have NEVER condoned ritual murders or disfiguring.
