“I’m not sure the president of the university was aware of what happened.”

If the president was aware of it they need a new president.

If the president wasn't aware of it they need a new president.

Yes! Defund this craphole! THIS is what conservative state legislatures HAVE to start doing. Shutting down these havens of communist academia who are indoctrinating the next generation of left wing voters.

Great idea!

Doing a similar thing worked so well for Graham Spanier and Penn State!

Isn't it natural that the next step of the sexual/amoral revolution take place on a college campus?

The world will soon have to decide in earnest...is sex a moral issue or just an animal urge?

Or even deeper...are there any moral/ethical absolutes or are humans adrift in a world without absolute values or Truth.

Human life is cutting to the core of this issue.

That said, Truth is and has always been...Truth.

This is the vine on which the gay life-style and sexual liberation dies.

If the is no Truth, there is no meaning to life.

But because Truth is self-evident...someone (God, ultimately) emerges as the eternal purveyor of it.

The final decision is...Obey or...Disobey.

This is the nature of free choice and the birth place of sin.

Without this freedom, we are only robots...and God doesn't want us to be robots. He wants us to freely choose Himself and the Path of Righteousness.

But if we choose the alternative...we will face the consequences of our actions.

This is the nature of life...and of eternity.

How does one become a “noted lesbian bondage expert”? No, on further review, I don’t want to know.

Since when do college-age kids need any help or encouragement to have sex anyway?

“We should be teaching these children what is important to learn so they can get jobs,” state Sen. Stacey Campfield told Fox News. “I don’t know what jobs they plan on getting if they’re having seminars on oral sex and bondage. I don’t see how that will help someone in their professional career – unless they plan on becoming a porn star.”

Obviously, one could earn speaking fees as a poetry-reading lesbian bondage expert. Duh!

Wow! Who's their scriptwriter, Johnnie Cochran or the boys at Duck Dynasty? That rocks!

Gee, all these wonderful classes in TN! Wonder what even more spectacularly degenerate classes are on offer nowadays at the more Lliberal” cesspools of “learning” up north?!

The cultural decay is spreading south from Sodom and Gomorrah (New England)...will the good people of Tennessee defend their children?

While objecting to the cultural rot in our universities, the promotion of debauchery, and the like is very much in order. I would like to take exception with the comment of Tennessee State Senator Campbell, “We should be teaching these children what is important to learn so they can get jobs."

Vanishingly few students at universities are children -- oh, the occasional first semester freshman might be 17, and there might be a literal handful of wunderkinder who skipped grades at a university the size of U Tennessee -- and the point of attending a university is not to get jobs, but to become educated. Job training is what our underused trade schools and polytechnics (which we should have, but don't -- sort of a 'trade school plus' that offers a more rigorous and broad education with a focus on job training) are for.

Beyond the promotion of immorality, things like "Sex Week" are absolutely contrary to proper education, as the promote they speaking and thinking of rot. The principal role of university education is summed up in what Prof. John Alexander Smith of Oxford told his class in 1914:

Gentlemen, you are now about to embark on a course of studies which will occupy you for two years. Together, they form a noble adventure. But I would like to remind you of an important point. Nothing that you will learn in the course of your studies will be of the slightest possible use to you in after life, save only this, that if you work hard and intelligently you should be able to detect when a man is talking rot, and that, in my view, is the main, if not the sole, purpose of education.

Thanks for posting this. It needs wide distribution.

Actually, UT is just following after the University of the South in Sewanee, Tn. This Episcopal school has done this kind of crap for several years. I presume they still are.

Actually Knoxville {Jimmy Duncan's Congressional District} and East Tennessee in general outside out the UT campus is conservative. But we have a daily paper www.knoxnews.com which to put it mildly is gung ho liberal. They'll go after area local and state GOP officials with a vengeance. Stacy Campfield is one of the papers favorite targets. With the exception of a disgraced judge the paper will shy away of being critical of any Democratic office holder or any Liberal policies.

Denver, Colorado Freepers you can have your editor back now LOL.
