I think it is reverse from what many think. Liberals use and manipulate elements within cultures to keep groups separate. ‘Rap’ or Hip Hop culture for example. When you get down to the bare bones, it is just music, and every music has various fashion and lifestyle elements associated with it. The left however, has used it as a tool of racial segregation by praising being separate and against many of the unifying elements of our nation.
When we address it this way versus the way many on our side do, we possibly can get ahead of this game the left is playing to keep racial divisions alive.
Nor is there room for the racism’s opposite, just as ugly,venal and vile=political correctness.
On the way to a doctors appt., I was flipping through XM. you know the typical one second click to see if anything caught my attention that we all do.
When I got into the ‘urban’ stations here’s what I heard back to back to back...

This is not a joke or a made up example. It really happened to me. What are the odds? Actually pretty high when you look at the lyrics of modern rap ‘music’. And who pushes it? There’s the problem.
Said if for years, Rap and Hip Hop culture is the KKK’s dream come true.
And for years you have been correct.
It’s a multicultural/tribal world. That’s the future. If Black/Latino/Arab/Asian/etc... organizations aren’t racist to accept it, neither am I.
They have plenty of seats at the table in the democratic party!
And the same time, screaming PC is often used as cover for vileness.

Really? How can anything that conservatives say or do compete with Free Stuff? Urban blacks aren't chumps: why work when you can access free, no strings attached programs that pay for your food, your rent, your meds and even your cell phone? And more to the point, why vote for the candidate that wants to limit your access to Free Stuff?
We must save America without urban blacks, or despite them. They aren't going to be willing to help themselves any time soon.
The “urban culture” would reform in about 2 generations if the free stuff policies were cut off and normal American behavioral standards were expected.

Lowercase libertarian is an entirely different animal from a Liebrtarian, just as a lowercase liberal is an entirely different animal from a Liberal.
The current problem is that the “Obama People” have the brains of a garden gnome, if that.
Lol. I have mellowed out a lot over the last 5 years or so, used to be sort of a zealot. Now I find some of the most thoughtful and intelligent people are ones I once fought tooth and nail :).
But the progressives fight this as a war, and they’ve been at it for far longer than we have.
There’s one black man living in my little town and he tells me some of the damaging things conservatives are doing and he is a conservative from Detroit.
The lack of tact is killing us. Truth is fine but there are ways of telling the truth that don’t immediately set up an adversarial conversation. Its like when we speak of Detroit, somebody immediately declares them to be liberal democrats when that isn’t quite factual. The reality is that the politicians are simply corrupt and would be corrupt no matter what party or race they were. The people themselves aren’t liberal, they’re apathetic and without hope.
Then there is the matter of who we speak with and how we do it. My neighbor suggests taking the faith and family message to elderly blacks who are most receptive of it and pass it on. He also suggests being the bigger man and ignoring the verbal racism that comes from blacks.
Next week at my neighbor’s I’m meeting with a Detroit pastor (and his mother) who wants to know what it was like to grow up poor, rural, and white. He wants to work on a series of sermons about our similarities outside of race. The pastor also wants to talk to my neighbor about how much things have changed for he and his family since leaving the city.
People can call it pandering all they want but I’ve got nothing to give but respect.
I think a majority of Conservatives are colorblind. It’s the Democrats that pander to different races and ethnic groups while throwing White males to the curb.
Only a philosophy of collective groups(socialism)allows (in fact demands) racist thought as the individual is irrelevant ..you are judged by your group and not on your own merit
...the common cry of racist is "those people are all the same"... The common cry socialism is "all people must be made the same" by state force
So is modern American conservatism a philosophy of individual responsibility (and therefor incompatible with racist thought) ..or not?
I remember that you said the same last night and I fully agree, hell even liberal terians use the Govt out of our lives means let me smoke drugs, be a druggie, have sex wiht anything, do anything I want as it;s all about me and then pretend they;re conservative using the Govt out of our lives theme.

They twist the words and then try to make us change our platform and views to suit them and their ego agenda.
I’m sick of them and all of them should be thrown out of our party if they cannot get it into their drugged up minds that they have more agreement with the radical left.
When we see the racists pretending to be conservatives then our party had better do something.
