Good evening Lauren & thank you for this evening’s road trip! *Hugs*
Hi MA!
Holding you in thoughts and prayers.
Love you.
*HUGS*
When our granddaughter Sarah was very young, she told us she wanted to be a basketball coach like her daddy when she grew up. But she couldnt be one yet, she said, because first she had to be a player; and a player has to be able to tie her shoelaces, and she couldnt tie hers yet!
First things first, we say. And the first thing in all of life is to know God and enjoy Him.
Acknowledging and knowing God helps us to become what we were meant to be. Here is King Davids counsel to his son Solomon: Know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind (1 Chron. 28:9).
Remember, God can be known. He is a Person, not a logical or theological concept. He thinks, wills, enjoys, feels, loves, and desires as any person does. A. W. Tozer writes, He is a person and can be known in increasing degrees of intimacy as we prepare our hearts for the wonder of it. Ah, theres the rub: We must prepare our hearts.
The Lord is not playing hard to know; those who want to know Him can. He will not foist His love on us, but He does wait patiently, for He wants to be known by you. Knowing Him is the first thing in life.

Great road trip!!! I do love San Antonio! :)
We went to Ft. Sam Houston once, and there were tame deer
in the parade ground area that licked our hands. Made my day! :)
Hope you are doing well! ((((hugs))))

Hey you!
*HUGS*
It’s great to see you!
San Antonio IS great fun.
Doing good here, winding down the show season with just two huge ones left to do. YAY!
Tell the family I said HOWDY, and I will see you in June!
Good Evening Lauren. Thanks for the Tour to San Antonio.I hate the thought Of Joint Base anything since it takes away the individuality of the bases that We Present or Former Service People have been assigned to at one time or another.
I was assigned to Lackland AirForce Base during the 1970’s for basic training. From there I went through the Security Police Academy and the K-9 School so I was their for close to a Year before I went to a real U.S. Air Force Base.
The Only other base I went to in that area was Kelly AFB since it was Practically right next door.
Glad your season is winding down. It's been a long one! LOL! Hope your kids and grandkids are doing well! I know they are growing like weeds...like mine are!
Here is the latest picture of Callie....2 1/2 months old now...
