The big prize women won by tirelessly emulating men in every facet of life for the last thirty years is cardiovascular disease.
Interesting that feminism is a choice.
for a later read,
Did read she thinks every home needs a primary caretaker.
Yes. Logic.

What the hell is Ms. Miller doing out of the kitchen?
Bump. Too long for now.
SnakeDoc
Stayed home with my kids for over 15 years. I just could NOT stick them in some stinky smelly daycare center and allow them to turn into mushy-headed ill behaved cretins. I gave up a HUGE career to do it. Looking back, these were the BEST days of my life.
“Generally speaking, mothers instinctively want to devote themselves to home more than fathers do. (Even Sandberg admits it. Are there characteristics inherent in sex differences that make women more nurturing and men more assertive? she asks. Quite possibly.)”

My great grandmother figured that one out all by herself.

yep
Home, work, whatever, as long as they can “have it all”.
For your consideration Megan my dear :)
“Feminism” seems to defy definition. It means what any self-proclaimed “feminist” wants it to mean. The term has become even more devoid of meaning than “progressive”.
Thank you!
I understand Kelly’s feelings quite well but wish she’d take the one extra step and reject the hollow, soul-less shell of liberal-feminism and embrace the conservative culture where she’d be welcomed. The problem with the liberal feminists is that they see women who commit to stay-at-home motherhood as ‘traitors to the cause’. I see them as a bunch of shrews and I’m quietly grateful that they’ll never raise another generation of their like.
Women are designed to be and meant to be....women!
I don’t know why this is such a surprise to some people!
By the way, #5 is on the way! (-:
“The big prize women won by tirelessly emulating men in every facet of life for the last thirty years is cardiovascular disease.”
Yes; they won. Now they can pay their income taxes to subsidize other peoples’ children, walk down sidewalks where an increasing number of the children are jabbering in foreign tongues, and celebrate their pets’ birthdays...They really showed us.
and STDs.
One of the critical things hit on is that most people, including women, have run if the mill jobs. After so many years, what is the point if you aren’t very driven or at least making a lot of money? I’d quit in an instant if I didn’t need the money.
I was an engineer, and gave it up. My daughters are sixteen, and I’ve recommended to them to find a job that will allow them flexibility. I would not go into engineering now without also getting a teaching certificate. I think I would go into the medical field like speech or occupational therapy.
I knew you would enjoy it.
Women who also act like women and like being them are also consequently happier.
Because they aren't constantly competing men all the time, or for that matter other Women climbing up the ladder.
Congratulations on Baby Number 5!
