Nikkei down 340 at the close.
It will be very interesting to see how Wall Street reacts (or doesn't).

Fasten your seat belts.

Thanks for the link. Interesting and amazing stuff. The guy does a nice job presenting it as well. Spooky though. I’m not sure I would have cheered and clapped at the end!

You have to wonder if an economic collapse could be set off by a simple little aberrant algorithm.

I have always been a firm believer in the concept of "malicious stupidity". For example, normal, working, taxpaying, traditional American family members who voted for Ubama weren't simply stupid; their actions cannot be dismissed that simply. No, those people were maliciously stupid, because their actions are doing continuing harm to other people.

No doubt. Didn't he say it was a 9% drop in the 2008 DOW that happened in a minute - and is unaccounted for? Although I could see where that could have been engineered (Soros??) to help get Obama elected.

Just like all of the sci-fy movies that have the computers launch a nuclear war that creates an apocalypse - but instead using financials. Either way the trains don't run or the crops shipped to market.

Just happened to be listening to an old RUSH (rock group) CD; “Signals”

Signals transmitted
Message received
Reaction making impact -
Invisibly

Elemental telepathy
Exchange of energy
Reaction making contact -
Mysteriously

You’re exactly right. That’s one of the most frustrating parts of all this. Those Useful Idiots/Fools are jepordizing our security, prosperity and freedom (which are all intertwined). They’re too stupid to see what they’re doing.

When SHTF they will get no sympathy or help from me.

They are just parasites. They think that everyone else but themselves are going to pay for their wants. The reality is that they aren’t entitled to other peoples income.

The problem is everyone seems to think they might try it here, but in fact they already did it here.

I can't disagree, but I think Obama voters include a lot of different groups, including those voting entirely on the basis of race, and those who wanted to stick it to those they resent. Democrats are big on inciting and cashing in on resentment.

It looks like there is some information censure going on...

I just went to post a link in another forum from Reuters and the link was a total redirect. Not just a title change, which I’ve seen before, but a redirect to a totally different article with a different tone and set of information.

Fancy stuff they are pulling.

Might want to read this blogger take on the type of Venezuelan who brought Chavez to power an kept him there, and the comments

One commenter suggests people accepted the uncouth misogynistic corrupt Chavez because he was the father figure they never had, even though Chavez himself had illegitimate children he abandoned and ignored

Maybe Barry O’bama has successfully represented big govt and himself as the "father figure" a lot of emotionally stunted, low information voters never had, as illegitimacy has almost destroyed the concept of men as family providers or contributors in many communities

Fancy that- spin control in full effect and added another extra day of “ bank holiday” to pull it off

By Wednesday will the story will be disappeared along with photos of lines of people trying to get their money out of banks? If a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it, maybe the tree really didn’t fall? No news about an event makes the event disappear?

I will be watching the UK Daily Mail and Tyler Durden and Karl Denninger for the news that wont make it to the US

Those who save much are punished much. The more money in your bank account, the more money you pay to bail out the rest. Those who have shown some fiscal responsibility in their personal lives are paying for those who live off of government money.

From each according to his ability. To each according to his vote.

Fascinating stuff! Now I see how the regime is always one step ahead of us. They are adept at predicting our behavior. They know how we will react to everything and they use that info to destroy us. We need to catch up and quickly.

Yup, it appears they are already in full spin control mode. It just surprised me this morning to catch a full redirect.

I posted in their comment section and even the comments go to another article. LOL...

So I’m not sure why the article is still posted, but it is there for the moment?

Cyprus’ EU membership made it an excellent “tax optimization haven” for years. We’ll see how this shakes out.

I read that half the money deposited in Cyprus banks belongs to Russians

Putin and his ex-KGB (now “oligarch”) pals are going to be “unhappy” with the IMF, the EU and especially the Germans for taking their money (for those who the intelligence community did not warn ahead of time)
I figure the Russian mafia will figure out a way to get
that money back- with interest
