Republican strategist Karl Rove responded to the harsh comments former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had for him at CPAC on Fox News Sunday this morning. Before taking a shot at Palin for not completing her term as governor, he said that Palin was actually in agreement with him on former Senate candidate Todd Akin and that he actually works pro bono for American Crossroads.
[....]
Rove continued that Palin endorsed in primaries and got involved in other races around so he didnt understand what the problem was with other people doing the same thing. He defended his work for American Crossroads saying he doesnt take a dime from my work with them and actually pays all of his travel expenses for the group out of his own pocket. Im thought Sarah Palin was about encouraging grassroots activity. Im a volunteeer, said Rove.
Then he took a shot across her bow.
I appreciate her encouragement that I ought to go home to Texas and run for office. I would be enthused if I ran for office to have her support but I dont think, Im a particularly good candidate, a balding fat guy. Second of all, if I did run for office and win I would serve out my term and I wouldnt leave office midterm, said Rove.

Rove could have been partially responsible for Palin having to quit as Gov.
Christine had her own problems.
Yes, but that doesn’t excuse Rove’s backstabbing.
I have been wondering for a long time now how much the democrat party has been paying Carl.
Rove quote in his response:
I dont think Im a particularly good candidate, sort of a balding fat guy.
This is hysterical...Rove gets his panties in a wad over the brief swipe Governor Palin took at him. Meanwhile...Brent Bozell spends a few minutes pummeling Rove...throws him around the room a few times, and finally knocks him right through the wall. Result? Crickets.
Since it was the DNC and GOP-e, especially Rove minions like Steve Schmidthead and Nicole Wallace that caused Gov. Palin to leave her governorship 2/3of the way through (not mid-term, that’s a Bill Maher/Kathy Gifford style talking point) it’s funny that turd blossom would have the nerve to bring that up.
You might be on to something...one more wedding, and he'll be tied with Rush. :-)
Christine got more votes in her race than Romney did in his. She lost because the GOPe voted for the Rat candidate since their crony lost the primary.
That wouldn't work, I can hear it now; Get off my stage ya big dope! LOL!!!!!
How about Mark says: "Listen up, pal, I'm trying to educate you."
"Thank me!"
Hank knows that. He's one of the original PDS'ers who infested FR from 2009-2011, and has been told that over and over. But yet, he never misses an opportunity to take his shots at Palin.
Karl sucks and so does Fox now for most part.
There is room still for a new truly fair and balanced network. No I am not talking about a one sided network, we had one of those some years ago now, cant recall the name this moment, but you knew you were not getting reality in their coverage, however we need a truly fair and balanced station/network
Fox does a good job ov covering Rep establishment and Democrat Establishment, from that point of view they are fair and balanced, in that they give you another side that you dont get on the other MSM stations
However they are NOT fair and balanced at all when it comes to the Social Conservative Tea Party positions.
FNS and/or Special Report do not have either represented on their panels, they only speak of both as them, you have to be a “moderate” to be on their panel, however that`s only for the right, for the left they allow lefties
just my 2 cents
Yes Karl, you WOULD have finished your term, b/c you are all about self-aggrandizement, nothing more. Bob
Gore got more votes.
We dodged a bullet because of the Electoral College.
OK. Thanks for the info.
