House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) warned his Republican counterpart on Friday that the GOP will have no hope of finding bipartisan agreement on any issue if it continues to insist on repealing the 2010 healthcare law. "If we want to do something in a bipartisan fashion, if we want to get to an end here, we ought to stop pretending that we´re going to repeal the Affordable Care Act," Hoyer told Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.). "We had an election about that. We won. The president won." Hoyer´s comment

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
You wish, Hoyer. We’re going to make you all vote FOR Obamacare as many times as we can. Then, as more and more suffer under this stupid law, we’re going to use your votes to smash your faces in come election day.
the way they rammed it through shows they didn’t give two libtard shits about bipartisanship.
fight to the death. fock you hoyer.
This guy is a coward. The new census results came in and his district in Maryland ~ mostly Prince George's County ~ had suddenly become MAJORITY BLACK.,
My old buddy Leroy Warren and some of his black political friends over there saw the results and went to Stenny and told him that "it's time brother ~ get a new district" ~ meaning that they were taking over the local Democrat machine and putting a black man into office.
Stenny MOVED ~ and the legislature made sure he had enough white Democrats to keep him in office for many years.
Basically Stenny Hoyer is a cowardly racist of the worst sort.
Republicans that make deals with Hoyer and his crowd are doing the devil's own work.
KMA, Steny.
I can’t remember the last time the Democrats crossed the aisle in a bipartisan manner. Stupid Republicans do it all the time, but Democrats? Never.
In other words, he expects the Republicans to follow his definition of “bipartisan fashion”, which means rollover and do what we say.
Statements like this from Hoyer show us what they are really afraid of.
Attack, and do not relent.
Of course, with Boehner and McConnell, well, you know.......
“Then, as more and more suffer under this stupid law, were going to use your votes to smash your faces in come election day.”
This is EXACTLY why they need to keep pushing repeal. The list of those Dems voting for it will be long, and will be the nails in their political coffins.
O’Reilly was just preaching this garbage that the GOP needs to lighten up on the O-care rhetoric.
Yeah, I saw that. Bill can go write another book.
Just saw Steve King is coming up on Hannity. Should be interesting to hear from him.
We’re not trying to overturn it, just defund it....
Stenygoguing the issue. Would this be the only politics that Hoyer knows?
...and the horse you rode in on, Steny.
Ah, but will the GOP stick to its guns ? A precious few will, but a good number of them have become collaborators.
Again with this ‘we won’ juvenile taunt.
Is that some code for bipartisan in his alternate universe, I mean you just can’t be any more contradictory in one short sentence!
Steny “I’m a legend in my own warped mind” Hoyer is one of the key members of Congress who helped repeal the Walter-McCarren Act of the Immigration & Naturalization Act that kept communists/sympathizers and terrorism supporters out of the US (in the late 1980s - along with Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank and Pat Moyniham).
Nuff said.
Steny, the House had an election too and WE won. Get over it.
Another elitist communist heard from.
One thing about it, they’re all “out of the closet” now.
