Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates.Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn’t want to work; there simply weren’t any jobs.

The thing about the Autobahn, while marveled as a brilliant public works project and an innovative new design for future highways, the dirty little secret is there was virtually no automobile traffic on it. Where as one in five people in America owned their own car in Germany the rate was more like one in fifty. Hitler had envisioned the average German being able to afford the new ''Volkswagen(''the peoples car) car to travel on it. A fund was set-up by the Nazi Party to encourage the average German to set aside a few dollars every week so as to purchase their own car. Over 300,000 Germans saved a total of some 280 million marks. Some received a car but with the out-break of war on Sept.1, 1939 Hitler ordered Ferdinand Porches car to be made into a military vehicle. The money in the account was later confiscated by the Russians in 1945. So much for ''the peoples car''. As far as incompetence , yes Obama is way out in front of Hitler.

As good a speaker as Hitler was many historians say he spoke terrible German. Without a doubt though he could rile up the masses. Goebbels was a pretty dynamic speaker in his own right.He was a man possessed of a PhD in philosophy. One of the most rousing, if not chilling orations given by anyone, despot or not,was his speech in Berlins Sportsplast in February 1943 after the defeat at Stalingrad. Goebbels whipped up the crowed to fever pitch by demanding ‘’Do you want total war?’’ And the crowd wildly said yes. Afterward, impressed by his own oratory Goebbels wrote in his diary, “If I had told them to go home to their apartments and hurl themselves out the window they would have done so!’’.

Hitler was his own man. He did not have nor had to answer to a shadow government that pulled his strings ... like the puppet in the white hut does now

It has been a long time coming. From the President's Award for Physical Fitness (JFK) and the SCOTUS decision against public school prayer to today, the increments have been smaller and slower in coming, but the direction has been the same.

I heard this lady speak, many years ago, and for those of us who have been paying attention (and calling other people's attention to the morphing of America) it has been a long and often painful road.

Most people don't want to be bothered and change the subject nervously..."How about those (insert sports team here)..."

Many younger people think freedom is a choice of cell phones, tattoos, and the internet, but don't understand what they have lost. More glandular distractions pique their interest, and tomorrow is portrayed as picking through the ashes to fight over scraps anyway, so why not live it up now?

Even worse, there seem to be a growing number of people who seem to be okay with the changes as they spew their daily minutiae all over their Facebook page...not realizing they have created a record which can be used against them when the Law is changed to make their daily activities acts against the State...

The propaganda (MSM) grows worse daily, but for now we can at least take note and rebut it.

Pray more people will listen before it is too late.
