Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) complained Monday she was subject to a very uncomfortable screening by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). McCaskill tweeted about the experience before boarding a flight on Monday.
The senator, who has complained about the TSA's security techniques in the past, tweeted that she was selected for a pat down and that the experience was not a pleasant one. "Today in my airport screening, test on my hands was positive," McCaskill wrote to her 89,100 followers. "Got private, more aggressive pat down. OMG. #veryuncomfortable."

Dry cleaning chemicals can trigger the machine.
If you carry a coat over your arm, and you perspire, it transfers to your skin.
“No, she has one of those for her vibrator...
...that runs on a car battery and has leaf springs. “
Might you be implying that Democrap Senator could be what an earlier generation called “a leather bottomed whore”?
She should be on the No Fly list.
The key phrase here is “complained about the TSA’s security techniques in the past.”
Maybe the TSA types had it in for her. Who knows.
I have pins in my shoulder, and always get a pat down - first because I can’t lift my arm high enough for the naked picture one, and the wand always goes off on the other.
They do not laugh when you ask them if they are going to buy you dinner first.
Once in Denver, the supervisor came over and said ‘just move along’ and then yelled at the women TSA and said “use some common sense”.
Since we can have knives now, and studies show they let bombs through - why are we still bothering people who fly?
Won’t make any difference. TSA is in the business of manufacturing sheep.
Your a Senator? I am sorry, you are a terrorist!
Is TSA testing for BS now?
I know I will get flamed by this but over the past couple years I have flown 8 times. I have NEVER had a TSA person be rude to me, inappropriately touch me, go through my stuff, take anything, or any of these things I read about. I have never witnessed any of these things either.
And these trips have been through different airports, at different times of the day and days of the week. They were at busy times and slow times.
Perhaps a lot of this stuff we read about is brought on by the person complaining? I understand the occasional hitleresque person who searches grandma in a wheelchair or does a cavity search on a 7 year old - but where do all these things happen? And happen to whom?
Everyone I have dealt with at every level has been professional, courteous, and actually smiling.
Am I missing something?
You’re lucky!
I have to say I’ve never had any problem either.
I wonder why? Perchlorate is non-flammable and not a known “small dose” toxic chemical. It doesn’t have a noxious odor. Interesting.
The next day he DIDN'T CALL...!
No, SHE didn’t call
After Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano have a lover’s tryst at Nappy’s palatial digs, everything will be straightened out. McCaskill is a TSA groped dope.
“McCaskill wrote to her 89,100 followers”
Who the hell would ‘follow’ this witch? Oh, wait. The majority of Missouri voters.
The whole TSA thing is unnecessary, unconstitutional and disgusting. It conditions us to kowtow to the almighty government as if we are subservient quasi-felons. Whether the minions are rude or polite is irrelevant. They shouldn’t be doing what they are doing. And we shouldn’t put up with it. But we do. Because we are no longer Americans, but gutless sheep.
Heard the TSA agent was screaming... my eyes... my eyes... I’M BLIND!!!
I really don't see the need to screen (there are a lot of very good passive sensors now and the passengers are not going to allow a hijacking anymore), but maybe they want to train us to be sheep.
