if a 7.0 hits LA and our liberal leaders have no money to send to LA & its homeless, will it be blamed on the GOP?
Well the swarm started before the largest quake...so it’s not to say that will be the largest....he could be even more right...lol
What is interesting is the quake in the Gulf of mexico tonight....lol

Sequestration has knocked out the California earthquake suppressors.
Ernie. Did you feel any of the quake in your area?
Thanks to you and your information years back right here on FR; I, for one, no longer make posts like that! LOL
Ever since then I’ve been amazed at the amount of Earthquakes that happen on a daily basis that we never hear about. We only hear about a very, very slim portion of them - mostly when it hits a city with a large population, or there are shocking types of damage... (as I’m sure you’re aware).
Thanks again for your help in my education on the topic! :)
‘____on the 16th floor_________’
Years ago I was in Santa Barbara, and felt a quake ‘sway’ from about the 4th floor of a building. When I got to the lobby, people looked at me like I was nutty or something - they hadn’t felt it. So of course it didn’t happen!
Right then, as a TV was on, came the quake news. Vindicated!!!
Our west coast has been fortunate to have missed most of the increased worldwide earthquake/volcanic activity for the last year or two. That may be about to change:
California earthquake packed unusually wide punch, experts say
Yeah the main shock of that swarm caused countless small quakes far away from the swarm..it was cool to watch.
Again though the swarm was happening before the 4.7 so certainly can not rule out a larger quake even though the swarm slowed!
That was last year that a 9.0 quake was predicted for March 22. As I recall, it didn’t happen.
That is a bunch rather widely distributed.
Thanks for posting the list.
Someone trying fraking out there in the Gulf...?
I think I am right on a major fault that did it to Long Beach many years ago,...
Yeah it was like a bag of popcorn going off yesterday afternoon...kinda cool to watch.
Certainly not expected given just a 4.7?
Certainly an odd place to put a tremor...lol
From "Darwin's Ghost," a mdern update on Darwin's "Origin ..." by Steve Jones, we have on page 196 ...
"Fifteen million years ago, life on Earth was much as it is today, but fifteen million years hence, because of the unpredictable creep of coastal California along the San Andreas Fault, The Santa Monica Freeway will run directly into the San Francisco Bay Bridge as the City Of Angels migrates northward."
