The Bill of Rights is comprised of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, and the town of Newfield, N.J., appears hell-bent on repealing every single one of them.
Newfield homeowner Eileen Hart attended an informal meeting Saturday to discuss property revaluations in light of the findings by Appraisal Systems Inc., a firm hired by New Jersey to assess the fair market value of properties in each county.

IMHO gunowners need to be careful. This reminds me of the case where a CCW went to a Costco in Las Vegas NV. He leaned over to get something and a store clerk noticed his concealed pistol. She had a problems with people owning and carrying guns. She simply called the cops claiming a man had a gun and was behaving violently and erractically in the store. The man’s girlfriend and other family members who was with him shopping said he was acting normally. Problem is the cops get a report of angry man with gun. They arrived and waited for the CCW at the store entrance. When he came out, one officer yelled freeze, the other yelled hands up and the other yelled hit the ground. No matter which officer direction he complied, the other two open fired because he did not do what they wanted him to. Result is a dead CCW due to an exaggerated clerk report. IMHO I think the clerk had a idignation of gun ownership and did her part to eliminate another evil gun (and owner). She probably did not care when the CCW owner was shot to death due to her exaggerated report. Today the case is pending the the CCw family must deal with the loss and the video showing the shootout at the entrance was lost.
I think a town council member surmise that the woman was conservative Jew, Tea Party like, thus very likely a gunowner. To teach her a lesson, just report to the cops about a gun threat and put her thru great expense and legal jeopardy thru the legal system just to teach her a lesson.
I tell my son who is in college to keep his mouth shut on politics, because today a stranger can hate you for your viewpoint. Telling them you are a gunowner puts you a great jeopardy because the hater knows no bounds to get you into trouble.
I’m assuming there is an audio or video recording, though I could be wrong.
She should call the ACLU.
bwaaahahaha that was hard to say with a straight face.
Exactly! — A public meeting - people come to express their ideas - and if she was told to shit down and shut up - a mother worried about paying for her house (or selling it at this point) - sure she’s going to be upset.
I don’t know if she said what was reported - but if there are witnesses that heard her speak - and they give written statements that she did not - and those warrants were issued off of that company’s people — then there are multiple charges awaiting them...only if the prosecutor takes it to the next level of course.
There’s much more going on than what was in this article - an article with very few detailed facts — but an article to elicit more emotional responses...
Agreed
whoops...”sit down and shut up”
The information in that article is terribly sketchy.
What are we supposed to to about it?
Send lawyers? Money? Guns? iTunes gift cards?
I know... Maybe a nice round of pass the meaningless graphic around on Facebook.
Incidences like this will only get worse. They will spread into every part of this Country.
And no... There is NOTHING we are willing to do to stop it.
Looks like she’s getting her story out there.
Hope so.
They said the same about Colorado once upon a time. Now look at it.
I’m sure it adds to her personal fear, for she, better than most of us, knows where this behavior by government ultimately leads.
The State has ears everywhere./sarc
Be polite, be firm, and don't back down. Document all interactions with the state.
In groups where you don't know the people, do same, but exercise caution.
My guess is in line at Krispy Kreme.
So you weigh on on the side that the story would have been less outrageous if it had happened to the granddaughter of a Spanish campaseno. So noted.
Rand Paul has contacted her via Twitter....*smiles*...this is going viral..
In another year or two they will just hit her house with a few drone missles.
