Actress and potential Senate candidate Ashley Judd's aging pets may have been a deciding factor in her choice to part with a renovated Scottish estate worth millions, according to a 2012 interview.
Judd and then-husband Dario Franchitti, a Scotland native, put Rednock, their renovated mansion in central Scotland, up for sale in the summer of 2012, close to six months before announcing their divorce in January 2013. The estate listing asked for nearly $6 million.

The 44-year-old actress revealed in a 2012 interview that her dog "Shug" is registered as a "psychological support" dog. She keeps her two dogs and five cats on film sets but assured she can do her job without them present. "It just adds to the quality of life," she explained.I thought that "psychological support" dog would have been Brian from "Family Guy."

If America continues down the path ZerO and congress has us one I will need a psychological support dog (one that hopefully hunts) provided by the government to help me through the day.

Off topic ... Yesterday at our local Publix (grocery store) a woman had a dog in her cart. I thought this was illegal. Turns out it was a registered “therapy dog”. They are showing up in airplanes too, same reason.

Ashley is just a typical Democrat candidate. She is a regular person with the same experiences, needs and financial budget as the rest of us. I've always thought being a celebrity is the perfect training for political office. I wonder what kind of limousine she rides in?

The house is not on the market? Did it sell???
There must be some kind of tax advantage to having that dog registered OR she really needs a support dog or both.

I’m seeing these “psychological support” mutts everywhere now. In stores, malls, etc. Saw two yesterday alone. It’s a freakin’ scam so idiots can get their dogs registered to bring them everywhere they go. Every one I’ve seen have been these stupid little toy dogs. They where a red cape like seeing eye dogs do. Disgusting...

"The home features luxuries such as "a center island that converts into a massage table, and a heated napkin rack in the butler's pantry." The master bathroom contains two shower heads the size of steering wheels, which, according to the interview, Judd requested. I wanted it to be like a waterfall, and I got my wish, she reminisced." All the while she travels the world in a private jet to preach to everyone why they need to conserve because they are killing the planet.
Put aside the fact that her [then] husband burns enough high test fuel in his occupation as a Grand Prix driver to power up Topeka Kansas.

It’s starting to sound like the REAL reason for her Senate run is...psychological therapy. Call it a “psychological therapy” campaign.
