During Fridays marathon gun control hearing in the Colorado Senate, Republican Sen. Kent Lambert offered an amendment to exempt active military members, veterans and their families from the gun magazine ban.
Enter Sen. Mary Hodge, a disgraceful Dem who urged fellow lawmakers to oppose the exemption because some of them come back with significant mental health problems.

sounds whacky hey making dope for the dope heads tobe legal but trying to ban a constitutional right?
I support gun owners, as for dope heads, LOL, must be under the I;m dopes up and a dope but I like to get high and it;s all about that law

I agree - hence my statement of consistent support for individual rights.

I don't see an answer there to my question - but, then, I read only English and not Babble.
Some people enjoy getting "high" on alcohol; I support their right to do so (with reasonable caveats such as no driving drunk, no disorderly public behavior, etc.). How about you?
difference, second amendment is there.
as for individual rights, well does that apply to coke, heroin, maybe sex with a goat, hey how about marrying your sister.
If you cannot see the difference between a dope getting high on dope and taking a constitutional right away then so be it

No difference - the Tenth Amendment is there too.

Yes and yes.
maybe sex with a goat,
Maybe. Why do you care - can't compete with a goat?
We seem to have decided (and reasonably so) that animals have the right to not be tortured - so maybe they have the right not to be used by humans for sex, too.
hey how about marrying your sister.
No right there - a restriction of marriage to nonrelated couples has a reasonable relation to the valid purpose of discouraging incestuous reproduction.
You want LSD, heroin, Coke to be legal too.
Next you’;ll be saying Govt has no right to stop kids having these drugs, , next sick twisted step is to open a drug shop with druggies outside to be next to a school, I mean after all why should Govt tell people where to sell their drugs?
Yep you do what ever you want, it;s all about you after all Govt should tell anyone anything and to hell with the rules and law
Thanks for reminding me about those occupy scruffs .
And the addictive mind-altering drug alcohol too. How about you?
Next you;ll be saying Govt has no right to stop kids having these drugs,
No I won't - kids have always been restricted in their exercise of rights, and properly so since they are not mentally mature.
, next sick twisted step is to open a drug shop with druggies outside to be next to a school, I mean after all why should Govt tell people where to sell their drugs?
I support local zoning regulations as a reasonable approximation to what people would voluntarily arrive at through the use of easements and covenants.
Yep you do what ever you want, it;s all about you after all Govt should tell anyone anything and to hell with the rules and law
No, to Hell with only those laws that punish non-rights-violating acts such as drug sale and use.
