“I thought about that issue a lot and [went] back and forth on it before I signed on to my principles and I just concluded that it’s not good for the country in the long term to have millions and millions of people who are forever prohibited from becoming citizens,” Rubio told reporters on his way to a Senate vote. “That hasn’t worked out well for Europe.”
Responding to a question from TPM, Rubio said he did not think Bush’s surprise move would make it harder to convince conservatives to accept an eventual path to citizenship.
“I don’t think so — we have what we have,” Rubio said.
But Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), another member of the bipartisan Senate group working on a bill, expressed serious concern Tuesday about Bush’s rightward turn — especially given his prominent reputation as an immigration reformer.

So what's the solution, Senator Rubio? Just declare all these lawbreakers legal? You want us to throw our laws out and acquiesce to the demands of foreigners who don't love this country, and who mostly have no desire to assimilate into this culture?

Those millions, Rubio, are criminals who have no right to even be in the United States, let alone be citizens.
What you are seeing now is the genesis of the coming Republican electoral massacre of 2014. What Republican conservative voter will have any interest in supporting elitists like Rubio, Graham, and their ilk who throw aside any respect for the law to pander to groups like the illegal alien bloc.
For every one hispanic vote they gain, they will lose four of the once reliable and principled conservative, law-respecting base. You can only stab your own troops in the back so many times.
Rubio’s time has come, and has now gone. The voters have turned away from the stupid debate between Rubio and the latest Bush over who can pander the most while lying the best. The Republican consultants and “strategists” have already set up the massive defeat that is coming. Of course, when it’s over they’ll still say it’s because the party didn’t pander enough to hispanics.
While I find POTUS campaign politics annoying this early out it was Impy who suggested in a ping to me my ultimate dream ticket for 2016, and I really liked it.

From the beginning of Rubio’s so-called rise in the Republican party, I have not seen anything that would make me want to vote for him. I still don’t. He just doesn’t impress me. After I hear him speak, I still wonder where he stands.

Yes, that would be a dream team... a true blessing for our side.
I’d vote for another Bush if he were conservative. Jeb Bush is NO conservative, nor his brother, not his dad. Maybe someday one will be born in the family.
