The Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups threatened on Friday that a visit by U.S. President Barack Obama to the Temple Mount during his upcoming visit to Israel will be a declaration of war on the Arab and the Islamic world.
A Hamas representative in the Al-Aqsa mosque, Mushir al-Masri, even called for a third intifada (uprising) and for Egyptian assistance in the resistance if Obama chooses to visit the Temple Mount.
According to the Bethlehem-based Maan news agency, the Gaza-based terrorist organizations made the threats during a protest march on Friday over the riots that broke out earlier in the day on the Temple Mount. According to the report, Khalid al-Batash, a senior Islamic Jihad member, also called to prevent Obama from visiting the compound.
Obama will be arriving in the region later this month, and PA media has been widely speculating that he plans to visit the site of the Al-Aqsa mosque. However, Washington is not planning such a visit.

I just spoke with my contacts in Israel. They said Israeli news just reported that when Obama visits Israel, he wants to stand on the Temple Mount and visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque! It gets worse as he wants to enter the Temple Mount from the Arab entrance to Jerusalem, without any Israelis or without Israeli security! What an insult to Israel.
He wants to be alone with his Muslim buddies in the Al-Aqua mosque.

And to think that when I toured Israel in 1979, an infidel like me was able to visit both the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock without raising a big stink.
Handing back the keys after the 1967 war was a big, huge mistake.
I heard as much, from the church I attended in Florida.
