By chance, did anyone else just the commercial on Fox News promoting homosexual marriage? I had to check the channel to make sure I was watching Fox News.
I know Fox News have been moving to the left, but selling ad time to organizations promoting homosexual marriage?
I may stop watching Fox News all together and stick to purely online discussions.
I haven’t watched Fox since Beck left. I agree; find information sources you trust and turn the others off.
A commercial running on a channel doesn’t constitute the network sponsoring or promoting something. Ads are often purchased irrespective of what they stand for.
Also, not all ads are purchased by the network. I can’t remember the exact number but it was close to 60% were purchased through the satellite or cable provider, not the network.
Are you making the accusation that Fox News may actually be involved in some sort of profit making conspiracy with the Gay Marriage folks?
I think I’m going to write and complain. Promoting deviancy is not compulsory. Would they run a Yale bestiality sensitivity ad? Maybe some tigers prowling around? I’m disgusted.
Faux News just pays lip service to conservatives in a cynical ploy to try to get them to tune in, but they really are pretty much as left as all the others. Plus they suck as a news organization.
One word of caution before jumping on Fox for this - cable networks typically give 2-3 of advertising minutes per hour to the local cable providers. So, it’s possible that Fox had nothing to do with the ad or its placement.

There’s the commercial.
Apparently this same organization used Laura Bush in one of their ads and she requested to be removed from it.
Ugh. This guy is obviously a closet homosexual. Make sure to add a “do not click” warning on this piece of nuclear waste.
Ditch FoxNews and pick up The Blaze. I did in November and have been much happier since. No more Beckel, Juan, Rove, etc.
I’m hoping Verizon picks up the Blaze soon. I thought Fox News was turning a corner with their support of Rand Paul over the McCain/Graham duo, but then I’m smacked in the face with this ridiculous ad.
So Fox News couldn’t deny the commercial, even if they wanted to? Sorry, I’m not familiar with how ad purchasing works.
Fox is not a “conservative” network. It is simply the most balanced of the major networks. Because Fox is running a commercial doesn’t mean they endorse the message.
While I haven’t watched “news entertainment” in years, including Fox, ... that is truly unfortunate.
Why wouldn’t The Blaze run the same commercial?
After all, Beck is pro-queer marriage.
I don’t watch FNC. Too many pretty faces, people talking over each other, splashy sets, and not enough real information.
There is no conservative network. Just go to Freerepublic and Drudge for news.
I don’t watch Fox News anymore, and any program I view is recorded on my DVR so I can watch it at my own leisure, and fast-forward through the commercials. It’s a real blessing during the election season, but if I see something in the commercials that looks interesting, like a new program announcement, or food ads, I can rewind, and watch the ad I want to see.
welcome to the crowd. When I want to see trash I take out the garbage.
