I have a hipoint .40 carbine and I love it love it love it.
I have fired 1000s of rounds out of it. (I load .40 so I shoot cheap)
Never ever one misfire. Never a failure to feed never a failure to eject. Nothing.
I put a forward grip and a cheap laser on the picatinny rails and a red dot on top. Shoots like a champ and is fun. That carbine is available in 9mm, .40, and .45 pistol calibers.
Never had experience with hipoint pistols. They weigh a ton but they have to to fight all that fixed barrel recoil...
I have a hipoint carbine in 9mm.
I only wish that they had designed it to take a standard double stack pistol magazine.
They are fun.
I shot my Hi-Point 40cal carbine for the first time last night, I totally agree with you! Half as loud as my handgun, easy and fun....accurate too!
