Good job Rand Paul, unfortunately the leadership of your party basically sold you and the country out. We had a chance to use the continuing resolution to defund 0bamacare and it didn’t happen. Why not?
The insiders are AFRAID of the outsiders in which Sen. Paul is one of them.
With loopholes and “is”s yet to be defined, I would say he was left hanging out to dry by his own party. Victory? Not in the least.
The filthy traitors in the White House will mow us down if they have to. And they’ll probably have to.
Paul did a good thing.
The letter from Holder still allows him to define what “combat” means.
Nothing has changed.
Obozo: "I was going to drone the mall in Denver, but that dang Holder said I couldn't"
Dang, I feel better...
Rand Paul did a fine thing.
Beyond Holder and Obama, the most disgusting jerks of the day are McCain and Graham.
I support Sen. Paul, too; but, no way is this one-time filibuster a victory. With ‘rats/this regime, what they do, not what they say is the key, and Holder’s one word denial isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. As you stated regards Waco scenarios or gun control resistance, this bunch will use the slightest provocation to unleash weponized drones on the population and solidify its hold on power.
We need to be terrified, TERRIFIED, of both Partis. While I am not entirely convinced that this was anything more than a stunt by Paul, the fact that any POSTUS can do this and that it is sanctioned by both Parties and SCOTUS . . . well . . . is this your America? Sure ain’t mine.
But given Obama’s track record, how can anyone be sure it isn’t just another big fat lie?
Victory? Maybe, in the sense that a football team that hasn’t moved the ball in a half gets a first down. It’s a good start, and he got the regime to admit they lack the power to do something, while making them look bad. In football it’s a first down, in baseball, it’s a base hit. We need lots of them.
