The Amnesty Twins disgrace themselves yet again.

I am disgusted. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are despicable, and must be run out of office. Here's why.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) led a 13-hour filibuster against the confirmation of CIA nominee John Brennan yesterday, in response to a merely to try and get an answer to a single question for Barack Obama and Eric Holder: Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on an American soil?
This followed a stunning comment from Attorney General Eric Holder suggesting that the president has authority to use drone strikes to kill Americans on US soil - without trial or even arrest.
"The president could conceivably have no choice but to authorize the military to use such force if necessary to protect the homeland," Mr Holder said.
Americans from across the political spectrum were rightly outraged by Holder's statement, and Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians alike praised Paul for his filibuster, once Holder and Obama refused to answer his simple question. Even left-wing media outlets criticized most Senate Democrats for not participating in the filibuster in defense of civil liberties.
Joining Paul were 15 of his Senate colleagues, including Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT) and one Democrat, Ron Wyden (D-WA) - all demanding an answer to Paul's question. And today the question was finally answered, as Holder reversed himself, through White house Spokesmouth Jay Carney said: "The answer is no" - a clear reversal of Holder's prior statement, and a victory for all Americans who do not blindly trust their government to safeguard their civil liberties.
But according to John McCain and Lindsay Graham, the question should never have been even asked.
They attacked Sen. Paul for his filibuster. McCain called Paul's question and filibuster "ridiculous"; that it was merely a "politcal stunt" to "fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms".
Graham was even worse. To Paul, his colleagues and outraged Americans demanding to know if the president believed he had the authority to drone-kill citizens on U.S. soil, Graham said the question "offended" him and that I do not believe that question deserves an answer.
Disgraceful.
And where were the amnesty-pimping twins while the epic filibuster was ongoing? With Obama, of course. McCain and Graham were dining with the President whose A.G. had claimed drone-kill authority.
Just as the two had lunch with Obama on the very day DHS released thousands of criminal illegal aliens onto American streets - which outraged the entire Republican party - but curiously did not seem bother McCain or Graham one bit. They merely said:
"We had an excellent meeting with the president and the vice president this afternoon during which we discussed our effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation this year. We were pleased to hear the president state his firm commitment that he will do whatever is necessary to accomplish this important goal."No concern about criminal aliens on the loose after a lawless release by Obama's DHS. No concern whatsoever about the civil liberties of Americans amid the introduction of weaponized Federal drones in this nation.
Do these poor excuses for public servants represent you? They sure don't represent me. Arizona conservatives had a chance to ditch McCain in 2010, but failed by putting forward a deeply-flawed, infomercial huckster against him in the primary, against whom McCain unethically used millions in leftover 2008 Presidential funds to thrash his opponent in spending 20:1. We won't get another shot until 2016.
But we don't have to wait long at all to fire the disgusting Lindsay Graham - he is up in 2014. Let's make sure it is his last term in any office.
To remind you of just how vile Graham is, let's recall his appearance in front of radical ethnic pressure group National Council of La Raza ("The Race") during the last amnesty battle (which he lost) in 2007. Here is Graham telling La Raza how he would handle YOU...
McCain and Graham’s behavior is shameful.
Rand should be applauded for standing up for our Constitution, for thinking outside the box to draw attention to this issue. Rand embarassed obama/Holder into answering HIS question.
Graham/McCain are only interested in maintaining their status in the Ruling Class. They can’t afford for the Tea Party wing to start making waves, to build momentum. Graham/McCain were in a BIG hurry to shut that momentum down.
It is time for them to go. Graham first.
Not a McCain supporter at all. But you cannot be both a “terrible pilot” and carrier qualified. Those two conditions just don’t fit together.
“John Mcidiot aint no war hero, a POW yes”
And the only Navy pilot to have lost five aircraft and never got grounded.....because of his dad’s influence.
Indeed. Not good, but it doesn’t take from what he did yesterday.
“They are nothing but lying whores”
I do hope that you mean, “with all deference to lying whores”. :-)
****** The Tea Party is the only option left. “ *******
We need the Media (can’t stand watching the News anymore at all)
TT
McCain and his butt boy can ...
they just killed their careers......PAUL was spot on
“I sure hope and pray that the people of their respective states can get their act together enough to retire the twits.”
Out-to-pasture if you’re overly humane, tarred-and-feathered at a minimum if you’re a punishment-fits-crime sort.
They are traitorous saboteurs of the worst sorts.
Almost makes me want to join FaceBook. Almost.
Hopefully this was Holder's Yamamoto moment. "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
Please help the tea party in SC, because LG is powerful enough and has a lot of pull with the SC GOP. He gets his money from trial lawyers and Duke Power.
I do.
Filibustering in defense of the 5th Amendment, Bill of Rights and Constitution is a bad thing? And we conservatives should not "fall for it"? Wow, many years ago I joined FR because the mission statement then was to protect and defend the Republic and its' Constitution. It is my believe that an American conservatism at its' core is defined by fidelity to our Constitution. I am curious as to just what kind of conservatism it is that would fault Paul for taking the Senate floor in defense of our rights under the Constitution. Please enlighten me.
I checked this morning and people are un-liking their pages, and the evisceration is continuing, especially after McCain’s new remarks.
Just sign up with a pretend name, and a free email just for FB (not that I have done that) just saying it can be done.
First Rand Paul is a constitutional conservative that leans libertarian, so am I. I agree with libertarians on lots of issues that pertain to personal liberty. They lose me on abortion (Paul is very pro life), same sex marriage (Paul opposes same sex marriage), open borders (Paul wants to secure the border) and free trade (no such thing exists).
I take some heat from social conservatives over the War on Drugs (we lost) and heat from neocons over the war on terror with looks more to me like a war on the Bill of Rights.
My point being that if someone agrees with you most of the time that person deserves your support most of the time. It is down right stupid to undermine an ally that agrees with you 70-80 percent of the time. Take them to task OVER THE ISSUES the other 20 30 percent.
