Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is urging key senators to support expanded background checks for gun purchases in new television ads airing in Iowa and her home state of Arizona.
The ads specifically target Senators Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ), two lawmakers who have made statements supporting background checks in the past. The ads include black and white images after high-profile mass shootings at a Colorado movie theater and a Connecticut elementary school.

Giffords and her freeloading, gold digging husband are a couple real pains in the @$$. They are milking this thing for every buck they can get. Typical commie RATS. They are a disgrace to America. Trampling the Bill of Rights just to make a buck.
Well, Jim Brady is getting old, and Sarah has milked that gig about long enough, so Gabby is the heir apparent poster child. The despicable husband is just cashing in. Of course the rules will only apply to the peons, not the elite and well connected...
So, where did they get B&W images of those crime scenes? Maybe I missed something, but I haven't seen them in the press.
Saw an interview of them where he said, with disgust, that they were still waiting for an apology from Sarah Palin for the shooting and Giffords agreed.
Mark Kelly from the moment Gabby was shot blamed Sarah Palin for the shooting, that is when I saw what a despicable piece of filth he is..couldn’t even wait 5 seconds to start blaming Sarah Palin, Republicans, anyone else but the shooter who was obsessed with his wife..he is the one that runs the show in that household, he tells Gabby what to say and she repeats it like a puppet and the media goes awwwwwwwwwwwww when she talks and repeats her talking points
I remember before the shooting Giffords was on MSNBC going on and on about how the Palin map was putting her in danger..yeah such danger that she had an event with ZERO security..if I were any of the families of those victims killed I would have sued Giffords for putting them in danger..yeah she felt SO threatened, and yet had no security at her event, wide open, for anyone to come..yet she had the nerve to blame Sarah Palin for what happened..disgusting, the both of them, Giffords and Kelly, two peas in a pod

Background checks would have made no difference in the Newtown case- he killed someone and stole their guns.
Aurora Colorado I’m not sure, but I think there was nothing in the guys background that would raise a flag.
This background check nonsense is designed to do one thing, ban legal private sales and start registering people.
That is the opinion of my brother and I as well. Kelly is beyond reprehensible in my opinion. If he wants to run around himself because of what happened to his wife, fine. (I could even somewhat understand his motivation if he chose to do so). But pimping her around everywhere is disgusting.
Isn’t Kelly working for Elon Musk now? That might explain some of his leftward surge.

Can “gabby” even talk? I believe she has a lot of brain damage. Her loser husband is using her as a tool. Shouldn’t he be home with her taking care of her rehab and so forth? I believe her husband has suffered more brain damage in the form of LIBeralism than she did by being blasted in the head.
I’d like someone to ask Giffords if she knows what a gun is. Then she should describe a gun and explain how it works.
I don’t think she’ll be able to answer that on her own.
