Florida legislator wants anyone trying to buy ammunition to complete an anger management program first, in what critics say is the latest example of local lawmakers reaching for constitutionally-dubious solutions to the problem of gun violence.
The bill filed Saturday by state Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, would require a three-day waiting period for the sale of any firearm and the sale of ammunition to anyone who has not completed anger management courses. The proposal would require ammo buyers to take the anger management courses every 10 years.

FYI to all: You can still buy rope without a background check or an anger management class. Also tar, feathers, pitchforks and material for torches.
The object is to have an official account that you “needed” anger management counseling, thus are ineligible to possess firearms.

On all IQ tests for the last 100 years, blacks score remarkable lower than whites. seems blacks test out with about 40% scoring 80 or below. Whites have only 10% scoring 80 or below.

Anger management? I target shoot (put holes in paper) and do trap & skeet. Where’s the anger as I’m just trying to improve my aim to make a better score. Are bowlers or golfers mad or made when practicing for better scores? My firearms are no more likely to endanger others than what one finds in a golf or bowling bag.

The Senat-hor should amend her bill to include hammers, as they also have been known to be lethal.
