What John Hawkins, author of “The Five Things” article, doesn’t understand is that liberals do indeed understand all these things quite well. What Conservatives don’t understand is that liberals do understand. Liberals are not stupid or misguided as so many conservatives want to believe. Liberals just have a different set of beliefs which one is a huge distrust of the Great Unwashed or sometimes referred to as Joe and Jane Sixpack. Actually, they’re scared of us, thus their desire to disarm us. Pretty simple actually.
