The Buildup Continues: Dept. of Homeland Security Purchases 2,700 MRAPs (Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles) For Domestic Use Posted on March 4, 2013 by sundance Some may ignore But we ask the same questions again, and again. Why do they need these? This is beyond Creepy Who is the DHS going to war against?
The Federal Government ordered almost 2 billion rounds of ammunition. They ordered targets looking like average armed citizens. They are conducting military style exercises in urban areas. North Carolina police say they are practicing for martial law.
Now this
Via Modern Survival Blog - The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these Mine Resistant Protected vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.
of all Bush’s mistakes, not sealing the border after September 11th was his biggest ... ...

They actually bought a small town in New Mexico for training; Playas, New Mexico.
Its called desensitizing those who you are going to be given orders to kill their fellow neighbors and citizens. All we need now is box cars and some showers, and there was a post of a video of a facility that could fit the match about 2 years or so ago. These people want blood and the pool of moral people in our society is getting mighty thin.
Can you imagine what the result would be if they released a report about all the ammo, vehicles, drones, etc. and training photos and said they were going to use them to secure the border? Oh my liberal heads would explode, it could never happen. Yet liberals don’t seem to mind not knowing what the purpose is and would likely think it was great if they were told they were to be used to disarm citizens...that would be a different story- in fact no story just as it is now.
Americans tolerate stolen elections because the media is complicit and quiet about their side's crimes.. The turning point is when a Governor like Jan Brewer or Rick Perry openly and quite publicly tells the government to F OFF and "Get out of my State" and begins to forcibly eject federal employees from their states.. THAT'S when the water starts to boil and we frogs decide to jump.
Oh well, that's OK I guess. My family seems to think that whatever the government tells you then it has to be true. And that's kinda the dichotomy isn't it? They believe in the government because we have a strong Constitution and the Constitution protects all of us.
It does however have the intimidation factor. Plus, like giving GIs Kevlar helmets that won’t stop bullets coming from rifles, it gives comfort/moral support to the people using it in a hostile environment. Basic psychology.
Also if oil and gas are hard to come by due to government control do to implementing choke points, they will have a easier time having fuel to get around while we won’t. Of course that is a door that swings both ways since those areas will be either fixed assets or bulk vehicles advertising to those smart enough to go for the holding tank.
Here's what I consider a funny story..just cause I can. My ex girlfriend and I were headed to Florida. We passed a strip mall off 75 heading south. There was a storefront with a sign that said “Martial Arts”. She thought it said, Marital Arts. Thought it was place where they taught you to have, well, “marital”arts, yea sex, with your partner.
She was a typical blonde and I Love her to this day....
I understand what you are saying, since I see a lot of that in my family and they are not big lib types for the most part. Our values system has been completely rotted from the inside out, and this is why we are seeing stories like this.
Because agents training with such things are "Anti-Soldiers."
Soldiers fight to preserve your liberties and way of life.
These people are more interested in preserving their own lives than protecting the liberties of their countrymen.
It’s kinda like the “boiling frog” thing. Well no, it’s exactly like the boiling frog thing. The big thing now, and even if you don’t remember, then, is “common sense gun control!”. As if there are no gun control laws and anyone who would object to just a couple of “Common Sense Gun Control!” laws is not just unresonable, but just plain nuts. But, I’m supposed to forget about the 20,000 already on the books.
“I remember several years ago a sniper had people pinned down in a 7-11 up the street from me and the county police positioned their armored car so that the people could be extracted. Thats a legitimate use. Oppressing the people of course is not”
I’m pretty sure you don’t get a say in how the local police “armored car” is used. Unless your local police force is a whole lot different than mine.....
Three blondes walk into a bar.
The fourth one ducks.
Oh, sorry.
(Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles)
There are a lot of us veterans who used these in Iraq/Afghan and know some of the weaknesses of these vehicles.
They also 'practice' in real cities - like Miami a few weeks ago... But it's nice to know Janet had the money to buy a city so her and Obama's private military can practice... I'm telling you we don't need a private army for a US President. Now Janet - who bought a city, enough bullets to kill every citizen many times over, 2,700 tanks and thirty-five THOUSAND drones - tells us she has to release criminals into our cities unless we cough up the cash for her buddy Obama? And you don't think she's a thug?
These jerk wads talk about 'gun violence' then release thousands of criminals into our communities? They're thugs.
You can download it for free. It is quite a good read.
You must have missed the video linked in post #29.

Well, that's 1 accounted for.
Now, do you have an explanation as to what the other 2,716 are for?
That's an awful lot of simultaneous parades & displays to postulate.
“As one respondent to the company explained, Look, each of the supposed threats appeared to be in their own home settings. They were also all holding a weapon .it is obvious these paper targets were never intended to be decoy (dont shoot targets). It is apparent this was designed to assist in desensitizing the trainee.

“How Did Ordinary Germans Become Hitler’s Murderers in Nazi Germany?”
“...If these men were considered “ordinary men,” meaning that they were not specifically selected to their orders because of any background or predisposition, [2] how did they evolve, or perhaps “descend,” into accomplices and murderers for Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler? Historian Christopher Browning argues that an amalgamation of ideas helped to turn originally timid, ordinary men into ruthless killers. Among these explanations are ideas of indoctrination, conformity, and the reality that the killings themselves became so regular that the members became desensitized to killing the “others,” [3] or those ostracized by the Nazis in Germany.”

“Ordinary Men: Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland”
“...The members of the Reserve Police Battalion 101 were influenced and conditioned in a general way and filled in particular with a sense of their own superiority and racial kinship. The aspect of Jewish inferiority, peer pressure and sense of duty therefore turned many of the police battalion into murderers. Browning suggests that given the same or similar circumstances, a similar number of ordinary men would experience the same results...”
