a good pro-life Christian person can run into a candidate that he just can't vote for and that happened for some with pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, Bishop Romney, your belief that every individual must vote for your party, no matter how satanic your agenda becomes, is just more evidence of what went wrong with your party, when it turned against conservatism and Christ in 2012.

I know many "GOOD" Christians who voted for Romney. Actually, I don't know one good Christian who did NOT vote for Romney. I am glad I do not personally know you or your ilk (always wanted to use that creepy word). You have personally made my life more difficult for doing the right thing and living an honest life. Only cheats and users benefit now. I detest anyone who voted for Obama.

And he is probably the most decent man who’s run for pres in many, many years.

What is your definition of 'decent'? Approval of same sex marriage and socialistic healthcare which includes abortion? Under his governorship, he made his state the first state to approve it all.

I'll say you never knew the man - just 'the appearance of'. See how evil works? Satan appears as a creature of light to draw us to himself and his lies and can only do it to those who don't care/know any better.

Liberal logic...Obamacare is bad. Voting for the guy that developed the blueprint for it is good.

Makes perfect sense to some people here. That should worry the rest of us.

Difference is, I wouldn’t call Huckabee voters conservatives. Idealogical, single issue, social conservatives maybe, but not simply conservatives. While this doesn’t seem to address your whole post, it actually does - and it’s not necessarily a bad thing, it just simply is.

Explain how empowering homosexuality and abortion in any form makes one a ‘good’ christian. Ask them if they have an excuse ready for God.

“Yes Lord, I campaigned for a man that supported the killing of children, the celebration of one man sodomizing another and such, but I did it for a good cause!”

HA!!!! Good luck with that.

If the voters that showed up to support Obama in '08 and '12 shows up again for '16, it's basically game over. The only way that the Republican candidate has a shot at winning the White House is if those voters stayed at home as they did during midterm elections in '10.

You don't understand, the Obama voters did stay home in 2012, by the millions.

The republicans ran someone who has always failed as a vote getter, people have never liked Romney and have never wanted to vote for him, even his single failed term as governor, where he left the state party in shambles, failed in his hopes to run for reelection, left with 34% approval and losing the seat to the democrats, Romney had failed to reach 50% of the vote.

...and the damage done by those disastrous "47 percent" comments...

If Romney doesn't care anymore, maybe he should sue the bartender who illegally recorded Romney's private appearance on his cellphone and then held onto it for months before releasing it to the MSM.

Make an example of somebody to show that some things won't be tolerated anymore.

“Then in the fall a number of conservatives stayed home rather than vote for the lesser of two evils and thus four more years of disaster.”

1. It was such a poorly run messaging campaign, that in *most* states, it didn’t matter who you voted for, Zero won.
2. Republicans in Congress can hardly bring themselves to do combat against Zero’s ideas and plans. They could hardly be expected to do less than go along with RINOmney’s similar plans.

Explain how allowing Obama to rule another 4 years is better.

When you guys go to war against conservatism and Christianity, you are in trouble, and your 2012 candidate proved that.

Bishop Romney was a walk to the dark side for the GOP, some of you seem to want to fight for what you evidently see as a desired direction.

I’m frustrated at losing too. Four more years of Hope and Change are going to damage this country badly but I don’t like this idea of moderating the GOP more than it already is. We’ve allowed the media and the Democrats to portray conservatism in a bad light and we’re doing nothing to combat it on our side.Frankly, I’m tired of the constant circular firing squad that goes on in the party. I’m not voting for a Jeb Bush or a Chris Christie type candidate anymore. I voted for every GOP nominee since the first George Bush back in 1988 when I was old enough to vote even though at that time I was still a Democrat. I held my nose for John McCain and Mitt Romney and voted for both of them. I didn’t like either one but I realized what the alternative was so I did my part. Moderation is not winning this party new voters and we won’t if we think we can be just like the Democrats and promise one government goodie after another. That road has already been traveled and we’ve been run over way too many times.

Give it a rest, RINO loving loser.

And you too,Jim...please do let us know when you...or one of your kids or grand kids...has been placed on a six month long (or,perhaps, year long) waiting list for a heart operation or to see a cancer specialist.Do a little research,Jim,and you'll find that that's exactly what happens...routinely...in both Britain and Canada. And then perhaps you'll explain to us (or your kids or grand kids) why one Danny Williams, until recently the Premier of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, when told he needed heart surgery went not to Montreal,or Toronto,or Vancouver but to the United States to have it done.

Try explaining your refusal to vote for Romney when your 10 year old granddaughter, suffering from bone cancer,is seen deteriorating day by day because, unlike today when she could see an oncologist the day after diagnosis, her parents are told that the first available appointment with one is in late May of the following year.Oh,and also keep in mind that not a single family member of your good friends,Osama Obama,Bella Pelosi or Dirty Harry will ever have to wait six minutes, let alone six months,to see an oncologist. But then I guess that that too is just ducky with you.

And yes,I'm fully prepared to be banned...permanently...for defying FR's party line, set by you,of absolute, unrelenting purity over acceptance of the realities of this nation's imperfect political system.Regardless of consequences.

Yup. It also inspired thousands to remember why voting for liberals always ends in disaster. But I’m sure people will argue that his ‘replace’ was all skittles and rainbows. “WE’ were just to pure to see it.

What’s stupid about 47% will never vote for him? The fact that he said it?

The stupidity was not in saying that people who pay no federal income taxes are not likely to be persuaded by a tax cut policy and vote for him. The stupidity was his implication that 47% of the country lacked personal responsibility. That was very stupid and incorrect. Romney made a moral judgment when he should have stuck to politics and economics.

“he stupidity was his implication that 47% of the country lacked personal responsibility.”

IT DOES LACK PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! It voted - “ FOR “ - OBAMA. It’s truth, not implication. If 47% of idiots don’t like it, Oh freaking well. Truth isn’t in the business of making decisions based on hurt feelings.

“First, third parties have a 200 year history of losing badly. You know the definition of insanity, right?”

I’m not a psychiatrist, but I know the one you would have posted to complete that statement.

Having said that, there has to _be_ “a second party” extant, or another party will come in to fill the vacuum left behind.

For now, the Republicans _are_ “the second party”. However, as we’ve seen from the past four months, they seem to be doing a dandy job trying to marginalize themselves out of influence and perhaps even existence.

If they keep going the way they’re going — and I see little evidence that they’ll do anything to reverse course, and may indeed accelerate down the path to self-destruction — they will shrink themselves to the point where they may be no longer seen as the “second party”, and where another party rises to fill that position.

It won’t be the first time in America that a once-major political party has simply disappeared in the matter of a decade or two.

So… call me insane if you wish, but that’s how I see it...
