ERIE, Colo.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
I know another rather large company whose executives are shooters and their location in Colorado is not set in concrete. They are willing to take the company to Texas or Georgia, two places they already have offices and many of their employees are from. I suspect by mid-summer this will happen and Colorado will be stunned by the news.
Why are they waiting?? The mere fact that they brought this law forward and are even debating this law should be reason enough. If they don’t pass it now, I guarantee they will try again real soon and they will pass it.
“Cheyenne WY is about 60 miles north of their current location.”
Essentially, “close enough to commute to” while the move is in-progress.
Magpul will pick Wyoming before Texas. Better choice, really. Although some here on FR are still “in denial”, Texas’ demographic future is going to “tilt it towards the blue” in the future, especially after an amnesty.
Wyoming will remain one of the “last traditional states standing”, long after others such as Texas, Florida, and Arizona have “slipped under”. True, at least TX and AZ are fighting hard, but “the writing is on the wall” for them. Last time I looked, it read, “emerging Atzlan”...
Agenda 21. They will move us all from the rural areas to the cities, and they don’t give a damn who lives or dies.
Give up your guns and be cattle in some kind of Logan’s Run scenario.
“WY is real close to CO. No corp or individual Income Tax.”
Particularly close to Erie, Co, which is in Northern Colorado. About an hour’s drive north from Erie to Cheyenne.
Don’t know why Magpul chose Boulder in the first place....wait, yes I do. It’s beautiful there. However, it is a political liberal hell-hole.
Yes, they will probably move to Wyoming. That makes a lot of sense for them. But this pessimist is hoping they chose Texas anyhow.
sic - choose Texas...
I can’t type tonight.
You won't be disappointed.
They should just move. Tell their employees that they are welcome to come with them and that they will even give them some help w/ the move. I’m sure that whatever state/community gets them, would be willing to help out in some way. Lots of those folks won’t be able to, due to outside responsibilities and that sucks.
Hate to be a judgmental jerk, but after looking at the pic that was posted, if that is their factory, I’d love to know what lever some of their employees were pulling in November.
I was born a free man. If I have anything to say about it, I will be a free man when I die. If that requires I don’t die of old age, well then, so be it.
Better dead than red. For those old enough to remember that statement. From when liberty was a concept not sneered at.
My father was a Marine that served in 3 wars. It makes me ill to think of his comrades that died for scum like these people.
I see a new term being used. High velocity rifles. They used to be high powered.
What is the next adjective using the word high going to be?
I wish O’Malley here in MD would agree with you. He’s hell bent to outdo CA and NY and chase Beretta and many FFLs out of the state.
Total Nonsense. Texas has always been Gringo and Tejano. From the beginning. There were Tejanos at both the Alamo and San Jacinto. All Hispanics are not Lefites. And if you think the natives are going quitely under the Socialist boot, you are terribly wrong. Whatever it takes.
Texas is gaining 1,000 to 1,500 people per day. And those are the legal numbers.
Maryland is about to lose Baretta and could lose LWRC as well if this keeps up. Gun manufacturers are loath to move large factories that cost them a lot of money to build, but sometimes if makes more sense for them to go where the business climate is good and that, unfortunately for them, is not Maryland.
They are getting away with it in states all over the country. They are flooding the end zone and smell blood.
This will not turn out as they expect, nor as we expect. This is uncharted territory we are entering now.
The United States of America as we have known and loved her is now ending. What emerges on the other side is yet to be determined. This will not end traditionally or peacefully, I fear.
What you said...This is not California. The Hispanic and Anglo cultures here are different. The dems will try their worst to make it like California, but we will fight them all the way.
We will not go quietly into the night. I am a transplant Yankee and this has been my home for more than a decade. I chose to make my stand here. I will retreat no further.
On the other hand...
I don’t think Magpul will miss a beat if they restrict any law enforcement sales.
I think they are going to sell 100% of everything they CAN make for years to come now.
