The Times Sheryl Stolberg Explains Her Marilyn Musgrave Mistake
I’ll support Government supported Sodomy (i.e., Gay marriage) when the governemnt stops funding AIDS research.
Gosh, 100 Republicans supporting this? Who knew?
This is an aside, but it kills me that gays are soooooo determined to get marriage rights when as far as I can tell, none of them actually want to be married (at least the men; lesbians seem to be a trifle more inclined toward settling down). I used to work in theater and knew a lot of gay men, and have kept up with some of them via social media. Only one out of the whole bunch is in a “permanent relationship,” but I am even skeptical about his because he just got married last year, and none of them seem to stay in the same relationship for more than a couple of years, tops. They love to trumpet their new honey and go on at length about “my man” and “my husband” but then in a few months their relationship status has quietly changed from “in a relationship” to “single.” The only longterm “married” gay guys I’ve ever seen are those on sitcoms.
.........Ms. Musgrave,
Women who wear the label “Ms.” are a breed unto themselves.
as usual lawyers will be the winners. short lived gay marriages equal a slew of divorce cases.
One notable thing about the brief is that the list of signers includes several top officials from the Romney presidential campaign. Mitt Romney strongly opposed gay marriage during the 2012 race. Signing the brief now in support of gay marriage are Beth Myers, perhaps Romneys closest aide in the campaign; Ben Ginsberg, the campaigns influential lawyer; David Kochel, the campaigns main strategist in Iowa (where Romney worked hard to win the support of Republicans for whom traditional marriage is a key issue); Katie Biber, the campaigns general counsel; Lee Rudofsky, the deputy general counsel; and Alex Lundry, a top tech official in the campaign.[...]
Romney campaign insiders say gay marriage was never much of an issue in the campaign. Aides knew that Romney had staked out a position opposed to gay marriage, and those aides do not recall any discussions trying to persuade Romney to change his mind. Of course, had Romney been elected president, some of those aides now expressing support of gay marriage would likely have ended up in powerful positions in the White House and the Romney administration.

What this Woodward, White House sequester battle highlights is the crisis in our democracy. Not so much for what it says about Mr. Obama and his administration but for what it says about the establishment press and all the members of my own party
Some noteworthy articles about politics, foreign or military affairs, IMHO, FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.
It’s a sin. God condemns it. No matter how many people sign on to it...or how the “supreme court” decides...it’s still a sin and the ones who participate are condemned by the only judge I ultimately abide by. My Lord, the Judge of us all.
