(CNN) -- Just like she did during the first half of the school year, first grader Coy Mathis wants to use the girls' restroom at her Colorado elementary school. But school officials won't let her.
The reason? Coy is transgendered, born with male sex organs but a child who identifies herself as female.
She has dressed as a girl for most of last year. And her passport and state-issued identification recognize her as female.
In December, the Fountain-Fort Carson School District informed Coy's parents that Coy would be barred from using the girls' restrooms at Eagleside Elementary in Fountain after winter break.

She could instead use the boys' bathroom, gender-neutral faculty bathrooms or the nurse's bathroom, the district said.

Maybe the little girls got tired of Coy’s dribbles on the toilet seat
Maybe restrooms should be assigned for Setters or Pointers
Concupisent material is something Progressives/Liberals do not want to acknowlege as existing or possible. Material meant to corrupt from the get go. It's like putting porn in the hands of 9 year old boys, their minds get corrupted about women and many begin to think and talk in that Genre; even spreading it around like wildfire.
Now they want young boys to imagine themselves something else to come out and corrupt this society even more.

I’m not ready to buy into this. Even if this kid truly had a ‘female’ brain...
Why wear the dresses?
If you were to go to an average first grade class today, odds are 90% of the girls would have pants on. If you go to Google images and search ‘eagleside elementary school fort carson, co’, you can see photos of the students in this kid’s school...and almost all the girls have pants on.
So why the dress?
Is this kid not only ‘female’ in the brain, but he also happens to have the most ‘girly’ female brain in the class? That seems unlikely...you’d think he would be more ‘in the middle’, especially if any of the testosterone gets through.
So why is he on TV with Katie Couric...in a dress?
The parents. They keep putting the dresses on the kid. They are steering the kid to be ‘girly’.
Why not dress the kid in pants (like most other boys and girls)? The parents should quit trying to be ‘unique’ vicariously through their kid. And, it would make life alot easier for him, quite frankly. And this kid can go in the stall in the boy’s room, and use the same toilet that the girls do.
Then when the kid is 13 years old, he can make his own decision on whether or not he wants to be deliberately different than the rest of the pack...and it won’t have been forced upon him by his parents.
Was Coy born with purple hair too? These parents are fools.
Born with normal male sex organs means male and no five year old has a clue about sexual identity. I suspicion the BOY’S “parents” may be lesbian and do not want him to be male or in any regard are totally screwed up. As far as I’m concerned the kid should be taken from the home by child welfare as the parents are mentally abusing him.
..........well, in Texas we still have some wonderful public schools albeit without fail in rural areas run by sane, moral and conservative school boards that would not tolerate something like this for a moment....for one reason, if they did, the schools parents would yank their kids from school within hours......!
and, any number of the men teachers at each of these schools are packin.................Adam Lansa would have been shot dead while aiming at the first kid!

They say the school is setting up their son for bullying. It is the parents who are setting up this child for bullying and worse.

I kind of imagine ‘they’ have names like Sun or Moon or Peace and they were raised by a Hippy/Yippy Commune on a steady diet of nuts and berries with an enlightened life style.
BUT the ‘good side’ to that ‘life style’ is that those that started the Hippy/Yippy communes have suddenly figured out that WE are (or should not be) not allowed to grow our own gardens... s/
Remember when hillary made her ‘It takes a Village comment’, she wasn’t referring to the ‘Village’ as what the rest of us (her included) were raised in in the 50’s and early 60’s, where in small towns or even city neighborhoods, for the most part ‘Everyone’ in town/neighborhood looked out for the well being of all the ‘kids’.
The village she was referring to was/is the Hippy/Yippy communes that sprung up in the late 60’s....
(Abby Hoffman’s? or Saul Alinsky?) prolific comment “we will just shave our beards and put on a tie, but not change our minds” is alive and well when you look at the likes of BO’s friend Bill Ayres....
