Nightmare on Hickory Street, Part 1: After the savage strangling of two young men, two of the accused killers decided to have sex atop the corpses of the victims, police learned.
Joshua Miner remembered his teenage girlfriend confiding “years back that she wanted to have sex with a dead guy,” states a police report documenting last month’s double murder on Hickory Street.
That's why Miner got the idea to ask girlfriend Alisa Massaro to have sex with him on the corpses of two men he's accused of helping to kill, police said.
Massaro “made a smirk on her face” and said she didn’t want to, according to the reports, but when being questioned by police, she “later acknowledged she and Josh did have sexual intercourse on top of the bodies.”
The reports obtained by Patch detail the differing versions of events described by the two young men and two young women—Miner, 24, Massaro, 18, Adam Landerman, 19, and Bethany McKee, 18—accused of luring two men to Massaro’s Hickory Street home and strangling them.
Police found the bodies of Terrance Rankins and Eric Glover, both 22, face down inside the house on Joliet’s near west side on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 10. Plastic bags were tied around the dead men’s heads, according to the reports. One of the men was bound, the other looked as if his hands had been tied at one time.
After the men were killed, McKee left Massaro’s house at least two times, according to statements in the police reports, including one trip to take her year-old child to a babysitter. On her way out for one of these excursions, McKee reportedly saw Miner set the scene for his sex romp with Massaro.
“McKee related that during the night that Josh wanted to put the bodies together, which they did, side by side and they put something over the bodies, which was beige in color and they were going to have sex on top of the bodies,” a report said. “McKee relates that she did not stick around for that ..."
McKee also told police Landerman may have been involved, too.
“McKee did relate that she thought Adam and Alisa had sex because they were talking about having a three-way on top of the bodies that were laying on the floor,” a report stated.
“McKee relates that Alisa agreed with having sex on the bodies because she just wanted to go along with Josh and that they had been together a long time,” the report stated. “McKee related during thewhole interview that Josh was the one responsible for most of these actions and Adam had just followed along and had only known Josh for this past week but was more of the (follower) in this and Josh was more of the leader.”
McKee also reportedly told police that Miner “scared” her.

The guilty party was confined in a cell, that during a low tide was void of water but filled to over the top when high tide came in.

Is there any way that Texas could claim jurisdiction?
Because of the white perps and black victims, do you know if it is alleged that this crime had a racial motive?
I would ask the same if the reverse were true.

When four white people kill and desecrate the bodies of two black people, or the reverse, I ask if race was alleged as a motivating factor.

FROM PART 2 UPDATE:
While stories told by the four charged with the Hickory Street double murder differ, with the alleged killers not only contradicting each other but also themselves, it appears Bethany McKee was friends with Terrance Rankins and invited him to Alisa Massaro’s home the night of Jan. 9.
A resident of Shorewood, where she lived with her parents and siblings, McKee had been staying at the home of Massaro and Massaro’s father for a number of days.
Rankins arrived with his friend Eric Glover, who Massaro believed was his cousin. The two men were under the impression they were going to have sex with Massaro and McKee, she said, but after showing up, they settled in to drink, smoke marijuana and play video games.
Joshua Miner told Joliet Police McKee invited Rankins and Glover over with instructions to “bring booze and weed.” They showed up about 10 p.m., played Grand Theft Auto and drank, a police report states.
