It’s time for Smith and Wesson, Glock, and Baretta to step up to the plate.

As I see it, no company can afford the risk of being blamed when a government agency or employee diverts weapons to civilians.

Does the name “Fast and Furious” ring any bells?

I imagine that Obama is going to unleash an army of bureaucrats from the IRS, EPA, et al as payback.

This number is out of date. The latest count is 62 and growing. Go here: http://www.thepoliceloophole.com/

Also the following suppliers or manufacturers are moving or considering moving:

1. Creedmoor Sports from Oceanside, CA to Ft. McClellan, AL. Creedmoor Sports supports high power rifle shooters with custom arms and accessories on or about 15 April 2013.

2. MagPul Industries from Boulder, CO to a Free State.

3. Remington Arms from Ilion, NY to a Free State.

4. Beretta USA from Accokeek, MD to a Free State.

Doesn’t matter if the small players stop dealing with the government. The feds will simply buy from foreign suppliers, along with nationalizing the big arms companies in the US. China, russia, and companies in multiple NATO countries would be more than happy to make money off of a US government crackdown, civil war, or revolution. Wouldn’t be the first time its happened. The best thing for these small companies would be to sell to anyone and everyone not in government for as long as they can.

Problem is, with the exception of Cheaper Than Dirt, Midway and Barrett, I doubt if most of the guys on the list have any government or law enforcement contracts to begin with.

KISS Tactical for instance consists of about 6 people - including the kid who stands across the street waving the sign. (Ask yourself why an LEO from California who wanted to buy a duty weapon in Arizona would drive past Phoenix, carry on another 30 miles south and wander into small, second floor walk up gun shop way down in Maricopa.)

This is all good for propaganda purposes but until the big manufacturers start joining the boycott and moving facilities it don't mean nuthin.

What I suspect will happen is that Law Enforcement agencies will have officers buy their own weapons and reimburse them.

”Due to legal, ethical and moral concerns, Citizen Arms offers only those custom firearms that are legal for all lawful citizens of a given state to possess, regardless of law enforcement status. LE personnel living in states where citizens must have restrictive features will only receive like product support from Citizen Arms. We’re very appreciative of the sacrifices made by the law enforcement community but we’re even more appreciative of the right guaranteed to all law-abiding US citizens by the Second Amendment to the US Constitution: A well regulated militia, necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”.

I'd go even farther if it were me. If I found the laws of a given jurisdiction unreasonable, I wouldn't even sell the government the SAME stuff legal to sell the citizens. Course they'd just get around it by faking orders from individuals so you wouldn't know, but it would have symbolic value at least, plus the satisfaction gained from making them impersonate one of their bosses, a regular citizen.

The list of companies that have stopped selling firearms and ammunition to law enforcement agencies in states that are restricting the Second Amendment has more than doubled since Wednesday and is more than five times larger than just one week ago. There are 44 companies on our list, with more being added as we receive notification. Here are the additions since Wednesday: •Barrett Firearms •Exile Machine •Tier One Arms •Bravo Company USA •Primary Weapons Systems •Crusader Weaponry •Top Gun Supply •Kiss Tactical •Clark Fork Tactical •OFA Tactical •One Source Tactical •Templar Tactical Arms •NEMO Arms •Old Grouch’s Military Surplus •Big Horn Armory •Midway USA •CMMG Inc •Rocky Top Tactical •Badger Peak •Controlled Chaos Arms •SRT Arms •Norton Firearms •Citizen Arms •Evolution Weaponry •Doublestar Corp •JCW Industries •Huntertown Arms

Although I appreciate the moral support of these 44 companies, I suspect that their financial sacrifice is nil because they do little if any business in states like New York in the first place. The unofficial boycott will have no effect whatsoever unless and until the biggies like Glock, Sig, and S & W get on board, and that's not going to happen unless the average Joe in the private sector boycotts these companies. We need to put our money where are mouths are and stop buying from any company that sells to LEO in gun grabbing states.

This is all great news, but I do not believe that Obama and the libs will ever give up.

They intend to crush us and they will not stop.

Regrettably, a full out revolution may be necessary to save what’s left of our country.

Just sent a very polite email to CZ-USA (CZ is my favorite brand), with a list of the products from them I own, a compliment on their website’s statement supporting the 2nd, and a request to join the reverse-boycott. They list some LEO-only products. No idea how much volume of business it represents, but the longer the list, the more pressure on the “big guns” to join.

I think if everyone contacts their “favorite” firearm brand, let them know how many Rugers (or whatever) you own, and ask them to join in, that can be as persuasive as the threat of a boycott. Not that I mind writing a follow-up nasty-gram, if it comes to that...
