So the arrogant politician wants you to stay in his state so he can dictate his arrogance, tax you to oblivion, lay off your workers, regulate you into bankrupsy and ruin your livelyhood so he can pound his chest and say look what Iv’e done for the people. If the people who work for you will not storm the halls and protest outside of his house...MOVE
Unfortunately, Senator, the lies and mistruths you tell your robotic Obama-voters, don’t work on the bottom line of business and their right to pursue that business making products that are affirmed under the second amendment.
When you infringe on their right, and the rights of individuals to make, own and keep arms by proposing universal background checks, licensing, registration, inspections, banning and confiscation they will take all actions still legal to change the environment.
You should also know that when the “all actions still legal” avenue is closed, you will reap the whirlwind.

I would make this estimate. By 2016, at least forty weapons-related companies (to include ammo companies)...will have made the move to Texas or Mississippi. To add enticement...if both statehouses would add a tax credit of $5k for each employee that the company wants to bring....it’d probably ensure a great deal of high-quality employees come along with the company.
My advice for all states. When you come to the high-stakes poker table....losing comes in various shapes and sizes. You may not contemplate the real losses until the game is over....you’ve gone home, and found the house gone, and only the dog-house remaining.
When you have a quiet little company doing five million a year in sales, and generating a fair amount of jobs, and taxable income for a state....the last you want to do...is challenge them to leave your state. Everyone loses in a case like this.
You’re right, the Connecticut lib didn’t “swat” anybody, he and that liberal rag think that a lib can wag a scolding finger across state lines to any effect at all.
He gives away the game by calling for Federal gun control & “accepting” the use of guns for hunting but nothing else.

Pepsi - it occurs to me that if all the gun manufacturers move to one state, all the antis have to do is focus on capturing that state (like they're doing with Texas right now) and they can put all of them out of business at one shot (so to speak).
If leftist Regressive States like Connecticut and California don't want their companies to relocate to more pro-American States like Texas and Mississippi, they might need to cut taxes and regulations on business and their people.
Mississippi or Texas ain't losing in this one.
I think places like Idaho and Montana will also be attractive to manufacturers, but they haven't had officials out in front of microphones making pitches in the last two months.
Sometimes the move is lower profile, as in the case of Les Baer moving from Illinois to Iowa. (That and Ronnie Barrett's embargo of Cali state entities were the first examples of anyone in the firearms industry going semi-Galtomatic, IIRC.) Iowa is hardly where I'd relocate a firearms business, but on the other hand, it isn't Illinois (or Minnesota, or New York, or - surprisingly - Colorado), and that can be enough.
Blumenthal has always been a bullying ass in a suit, and nobody in CT needs to feign shock at what he and his fellow 'Rats have in mind. Those who want freedom, leave that state without taking along any leftist bedbugs that will infest the new house... and let the subjects of Richard the Turd stew in what will become unendurable.
