I only met one Huntsman supporter in 2012, and it was after he dropped out. Some guy on Facebook sends me a friend request and says he's a "pro-life, Catholic conservative" and would be interested in networking with me because "it sounds like you and I have a shared worldview"
I add the guy and aside from being pro-life and pro-traditional marriage, he's an left-wing socialist on everything else (tree hugger, more social programs for all, guns are bad, etc.) His Facebook wall was full of rants about how terrible it was that "the only reasonable Republican candidate" Huntsman dropped out, and bashing all the other Republicans as "heartless thugs" because they're against amnesty. He started babbling on about how the Federation for American Immigration Reform is a "front group" for Planned Parenthood (his "proof" was that pro-choice Republican Brian Bilbray happens to one of FAIR's many board members) He had a bunch of followers on his page, mostly illegal aliens and "anti-poverty" advocates, who eagerly gobble up all his talk points and proceeded to attack me (they loved to drop the F bomb) because I offered a different viewpoint.
Dude lasted 24 hours before I had enough of his insults and unfriended him. If he's typical of other "Huntsman supporters", there's no doubt why the guy was polling > 1%. Since he claims to be pro-traditional marriage I'd love to ask him what he thinks about his boy Huntsman now. He'd probably make excuses for him. (like his "socially conservative" illegal alien buddies in Maryland who just helped pass "marriage benefits" for gay illegals)
I’m shocked (shocked !) that a supporter of (C)Huntsman’s would be that way. And you met him on Facebook ? Is there a bigger hive of scum and villainy around (Not counting Demonic Underworld) ?
