An Idaho man accused of uttering a racial slur and slapping a crying 19-month-old boy on a Delta Air Lines flight is now out of a job.
Joe Rickey Hundley of Hayden, Idaho, was charged with assaulting a minor in the February 8 incident. His company, which initially suspended him, said Sunday that Hundley no longer has his job.
"Reports of the recent behavior of one of our business unit executives while on personal travel are offensive and disturbing," said a statement from AGC Aerospace & Defense. "We have taken this matter very seriously and worked diligently to examine it since learning of the matter on Friday afternoon.
"As of Sunday, the executive is no longer employed with the company."
AGC Aerospace & Defense supplies technology and other services to the military and businesses.

"Then Hundley, who was seated next to the mother and son, allegedly told her to "shut that ('N word') baby up."
The guy is a jerk, to be sure....but why was he apparently served alcohol AFTER it was clear he was drunk? Why does it take TWO "journalists" to do this story at CNN?
Why is Kat Williams still employed by ANYONE, if acting like a boar is the standard?
Also, why is this--a guy acting like a jackass on a plane--national news?
> Also, why is this—a guy acting like a jackass on a plane—national news?
Because it fans the flames of division which is a support beam in 0’s house...
I think you’ve keyed in on something that has become a trend over the past twenty years. News networks now take routine stories that ought to make the front page of Green Bay, WI, but really not a national story.
The simple story here is some drunk guy on an airplane....doing stupid things, and will likely get four weeks in some local county jail with a fine.
If you’d turn off all the national networks for a month....they’d get the message and start to think over how they can possibly make a profit with no viewers.
A month? It's been off in my house for over 20 years. Literally. Don't miss it.
MSM:
White man using a racial slur -— broadcast
White girl abducted -— broadcast
Black man using a racial slur -— ignore
Black girl abducted -— ignore
If the ratings are an indicator (and they are), then most people have been doing that. The net execs still don’t get it.
And “white beaten nearly to death by laughing black crowd” never happened.....
“Also, why is this—a guy acting like a jackass on a plane—national news?”
Because the incident was on a plane and he deserves it...
They have literally lost half of their viewers. They don't care. The people in charge feel their own job is safe, and they would rather put out their political message and lay off a few more reporters.
I never watch any televised news, either. If it’s not on FR, chances are, I won’t hear about it.
OTOH, I did hear about this incident on FR, so what are we doing here? LOL!
Because he's
a. a "comedian", and
b. a member of a "protected" class
I am not sure why the unpleasant, minor and tacky has become national news.
Unless it is to fan division of the people.
And to make people fearful.
Post-9/11, anyone acting like a jackass on a plane is national news. It's sort of man-bites-dog - while it's been decades since anyone has had to dress up to get on a plane, the average air passenger is a cut above, and you don't get very many incidents. Thus, any incident is news. And to have a corporate executive smack somebody's else baby on a plane - that's major league newsworthy. The racial angle is just a bonus.
Forget about the racial part for a moment: A man slaps a crying child in the face on a major air line??? I'm not surprised that it made national headlines.
If it were my child, the headlines would be bigger than that!
I think the first time I saw it was on the Miami local news. Fox station, I think....
I thought “Gee, a Minnesota or Georgia story....not a single connection to Florida. Oh, wait....the guy USED THE “N” WORD?!”
South Florida race baiting media drool at any opportunity to fan black hatred of whites.
