The extent to which GOP lawmakers are ridiculed by the MSM for trying to get to the bottom of Benghazi is unbelievable. If you missed Sen. McCain on Meet the Press today with David Gregory, it’s well worth watching now.
After explaining to Gregory that there are still a number of unanswered questions regarding Benghazi, McCain concludes by saying there’ s been a massive cover-up. Gregory is confused: “A massive cover-up of what?”
The crux of the interview, however, came when McCain asked Gregory whether he even cared that four Americans died (transcript via NewsBusters):
JOHN MCCAIN: I'm asking you, do you care-- I-- I'm-- I'm asking you, do you care whether four Americans died? Or do you-- the reasons for that? And-- and shouldn't pe-- people be held accountable for the fact that four Americans died--
DAVID GREGORY: Well, what you said was the cover-up--

DAVID GREGORY: A cover-up of what?
JOHN MCCAIN: Of the information-- concerning the deaths of four brave Americans. The information has not been forthcoming. You can obviously believe that it has. I know that it hasn't. And I'll be glad to send you a list of the questions that have not been answered, including what did the president do and who did he talk to the night of the attack on Benghazi?
And why was it? Why was it that we-- that the f-- the people who were evacuated from the-- from the consulate the next day were not interviewed the next day. And then they would've known that it was not a spontaneous demonstration. Why did the president for two weeks, for two weeks during the heat of the campaign continue to say he didn't know whether it was a terrorist attack or not?
Is it because it interfered with the line of Al Qaeda has decimated? And everything's fine in that-- in that part of the world? Maybe. We don't know. But we need the answers. Then we'll reach conclusions. But we have not received the answers. And that's a fact.
But hey, what difference at this point does it make, right?
God help us. The media will cover for the liars in DC, who should be accountable to us, not the other way around. Transparency is an illusion.
David don’t care. Hussein don’t care. Obviously hildebeast don’t care.(like that makes a difference!) I guess even honey badger don’t care. Pretty durn sad state of affairs. McCain, what can you say? For climate change legislation! Don’t these people even have staff that bothers to look anything up? No. They have staff but they are just as useless as their bosses.
Did you all see the gotcha smirk on Gregory’s face? Boy would I love to see it wiped off someday.

Senator McCain, ah, “four Americans” is not exactly the case. They were the embassy staff. They were the direct responsibility of the State dept and our dysfunctional Government.
They were killed BECAUSE they were on the embassy staff.
YOU remember, like when you were in prison in a foreign country BECAUSE you were there working for our govt. who worked at and eventually got you out?
WE never called you an American overseas, always a Naval Pilot or officer.
Could we just give them the proper place?

Gregory knows how to look outraged, or sad, or interested but it's like the faces a teenaged boy makes glancing in a mirror before the prom.
If Benghazi murders and cover-up had happened under Bush, Gregory would be able to read 'tough questions' with a look of outrage on his pretty boy face...
It’s OK if a few Americans die. Just like it was OK for millions of Jews to die. They’re smarter than us! They care more than us! They just want a better world.....for themselves.

And what if McCain had said “do you care if the Embassy Staff died, or any of our govt’s representatives in a foreign coutry, including POW’?”
He’d have gotten a differnent response.

The only thing Gregory cares about is that the first so-called black Pres__ent does not appear to be the incompetent boob he is.
